    Not necessarily. The hand held missiles (stingers, etc.) are only good to 10,000 feet. Great for helicopters, et. not so good for high flying stuff. Ukraine has S300 systems but they are "old" technology and are easily spoofed by modern countermeasures, plus Russia will be focusing on taking the remaining systems out with anti-radiation missiles when they are activated.

    I was referring to their likely inability to keep aging airframes and engines in the sky due to simple maintenance.

    That said, Russians don't have many precision guided weapons. Fly high= miss targets with dumb bombs.

    You may or may not be aware, RUS has ONE tank factory, and RUMINT has it that already shut down due to no new parts shipments.

    RUS has practically ZERO chip manufacturing capacity. When anything electronic breaks, the parts inventory loses another irreplaceable part.

    Russian supply truck fleet has another few weeks left of mechanical viability (no NCOs forcing maintenance discipline). After that, their front line troops will not have food or ammo, or things like tents for that matter. Spring rains are going to make for increasing likelihood of desertions/surrenders.

    Russia's demand for payments in rubles for gas deliveries to Europe cons utes a breach of contract, Germany warned Wednesday.

    "The announcement of paying in rubles is... a breach of the contract and we will now discuss with our European partners how we would react to that," said German Economy Minister Robert Habeck, whose country imported 55 percent of its natural gas from Russia before Moscow invaded Ukraine.

    Calls have been growing for Western allies to further ramp up sanctions against Moscow over its assault on Ukraine through a complete embargo of energy imports from Russia.
