That has nothing to do with the playoffs. The estimate is that each home playoff game is worth and additional ~$1M to a team.
For a team that just paid close to 20mm for bottom 3rd FRP (Ratpors pick) I’m not sure whatever financial incentives are included in a few playoff games are worth 5-6 places in the draft.

Why is Ingram listed as Probable. 0% chance the Pelicans can win without him

It would be nice but i really, really dont want the spurs to lose out on their potential lottery pick just to get smashed by Phoenix instead
I’m torn. I like this group and want to see them succeed but at the same time, we need that high pick.

I will say, if SA starts rolling on LAC it's gonna be hard to resist advancing, dropping draft position be damned. Pop already said it's not who we are so if Spurs are beating LAC they are gonna go for it. it, 14th and RD 1 here we go.

    “Draft picks are overrated”

Yet the spurs mostly have built their team through the draft

First game on National television tonight, i'm sure they're excited. Best case scenario is a good win tonight and a L Friday night. This team has been playing hard all year I'd love for them to get this W tonight tbh.

Pels front line is better than the Spurs so the game probably depends on how the matchups there work out.

And if their front line is on we have to hit our 3s to counterbalance.

Hooo boy. So fun to be actually pumped for a Spurs game, and win, once again! God damn. The last few games (most of the season, really) has been kind of bittersweet, with every win worsening our pick position and each loss feeling... Well, like a loss.

Let's get the best of both worlds, get it done tonight, then drop a close game on Friday. Everybody wins. Though TBH, the Spurs are already in a win/win position... They've grown and over-achieved this season, it's been a good ride. Hard to see them anything but better next one.

    LFG!!

Good start. Vassell making shots is, and will be, huge for the game. He's got such a pretty jumper... Let's hope he builds some momentum that'll ride into next season. Big year for him.
