Most voters have him on the All-Rookie Team tbh. He’s had a good season. Most people just don’t know him cause he’s in New Orleans.
It’s disappointing to be sure but this game is magnifying the team’s greatest deficiencies from the regular season.
Lack of length and rebounding from the two forward spots, inconsistent defensive efforts and lack of gameplan understanding.

The play in is ing worthless and meant for teams/fans that can’t accept that their team is not good enough to make the playoffs so they want to watch one game to tell us what we already know. Other than the Grizzlies beating Golden state last year and I can see the Hawks beating the Cavs (although that’s not much of an “upset”), the play in has played out exactly like the seedlings should have been anyways.
Which is what I think is more valuable than a draft pick.
And maybe...just maybe this stops the old man from playing Keldon at the 4

Honestly a beat down here wouldn’t be a bad thing for the Spurs imo. Shows the FO, Pop and players they have a long way to go. And especially it should show the FO the teams gaping holes (4-man, defense, rebounding, IQ) need to be fixed in the draft and off season trades/free agency.
Funny you post this. We just might see Landele but way late contributing too a wayyyyy too late comeback. Don't know how long you've been following the Spurs but Pops historically stubborn and won't try all options for what ever reason.

Collins is aggressive but you can tell he is still getting back into nba shape. After about 3 minutes he starts looking like a methhead
