To be fair we did technical eliminate The Lakers by not tanking. Not a complete waste.

I shouldn't be surprised to be blaming Murray. Yes, he missed a lot of shots, but he also never came off the floor in the 2nd half. His defense was a large part of why they came back to begin with. When he didn't play in the 2nd quarter the Spurs offense was ATROCIOS.

Saying it was Murray's fault we lost this game is saying that he has to carry a team offensively when we're maybe 7 NBA players deep.

    Its beyond ing stupid.

Wow most of the Spurs went straight to the locker room. No postgame mingling. I like that. Means they’re ticked off

Spurs are loaded with 4th/5th options that every contender could use tbh. Just not any 1’s or 2’s.

I would’ve liked Walker instead of Richardson to close, but Murray makes it all inconsequential. Spurs aren’t gonna win many when he shoots like that.

Manny always gives me , not sure why. I couldn't care less because I'm not here to satisfy anybody

Doesn't change the fact that we needed Murray to show up tonight and he didn't.

I give you because you ALWAYS unfairly talk about DJM. Like literally always. Its ing absurd to think that DJM is the primary reason we lost tonight when he literally can't even come off the floor because the team is so much worse without him out there.

I’m not worried about Murray we just need someone else to be our #1 scorer. Happy to see Keldon come back a bit. Poetl carried for stretches. Vassell needs to shoot 8+ 3s a game next year.

It was a bad comment, not worthy of that much attention. DJ was seriously sick.

But it's probably no accident that his worst game in the month or so before he got sick was also against NOP. Even that was a 15-9-5 night, but still.

Look at how bad the bench was tonight. If you can't afford to have your star player in foul trouble for one quarter then your team is shallow AF. Ingram sat out in foul trouble and it didn't matter because CJ just carried the wait. DJM sat out in the 2nd and the Spurs completely fell apart on the offensive end.

Once the emotions settle down I hope people can appreciate what a of a year it was, taking all things into consideration.

The future looks the brightest it’s been some time.

Primo, murray, lonnie = all disappointed

too bad this is what they had in them in a must win game

pretty revealing that your top players all choked when needed

*silver lining: forbes not here anymore*

I'm not going to blame Murray to much. I have had upper respiratory infections that lasted 2 to 3 weeks and left me feeling wiped out. He carried this team all season so not going to throw all that away cause he coming back from an illness and has played 2 games in what...3 weeks?

Disappointed in Keldon. He got straight up ed. And it seems like the book is out on him. Run him off the 3 point line, put some length on him, and it nullifies his offense. He just doesn't have the athleticism or quickness to deal with someone like Herb guarding him.

I hope this is Lonnie last game. He just drifts in and out. To many games where he is a non factor. Would have been nice if he was more aggressive with Dejounte playing bad but oh well. Thanks for the memories Lonnie.

Impressed with Devin. I think he is going to take a big leap next year. He was ultra aggressive and went for his.
Most importantly I am disappointed in Pop and I pray this is his last game. Keldon at the 4 has been a colossal failure defensively all year, he was lucky enough that Doug got hurt and forced him to play Collins and Landale with Poeltl, and as soon as Landale got hurt he went right back to this again. I mean are we really even trying to get a power forward cause I feel like Pop is content with leaving Keldon there.

He def looked off tonight. Not much life in his actions/play. I just hate Dex's dumb ass always trying to on DJM when its clear he's pretty much all alone out there on offense most nights. Keldon has gotten much better, but tonight he was awful in the first when DJM wasn't out there because Herb Jones didn't have to play DJM so he also shut down Keldon.

This was the best loss of the year. Spurs keep their lottery pick and avoid a pointless curb stomping from the Suns.

Big offseason coming up, progression, draft picks, and FA. This team exceeded my expectations tbh and we got rid of Eubanks and Forbes, W.

I would give him a nod as a second option. He had 20+ points in 38 of the 68 games he played in, and double digit AST's in 30 games. Can't just throw that away.

Interesting to note Murray played 10 min in the 1st half with his 3 fouls.
Played all 24 minutes in the 2nd half. Had coach just given in a little in that first and given him some run right before the bobcats broke a way....
