So much for open borders.
Brandon has been much tougher than orange guy, tbh. Looks like the public-private boondoggle got bigger too.
https://tomdispatch.com/the-border-i...the-biden-era/Just the day before the expo opened, the Biden administration put out its fiscal year 2023 budget, which proposed $97.3 billion for the DHS, that agency’s largest in its two-decade history. The Customs and Border Protection part of that, $17.5 billion, would similarly be the most money that agency has ever received, nearly $1.5 billion more than last year. Although Immigration and Customs Enforcement received just a marginal increase, it will still get $8.5 billion. Combine just those two and that $26 billion would be the highest sum ever dedicated to border and immigration enforcement, significantly more than the $20 billion that the Trump administration started out with in 2017. As DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas put it, such a budget will help secure our “values.”
Whinehole, we all get that you have no problem with 2 million undo ented economic migrants per month pouring over our border. Its an unprecedented wave of illegal immigration no matter what bar charts you find on the internet.
Its pure bull that we can "solve" the reason these people want to come to the US. Those holes are gonna be holes because that's how the people in power down there want it. Any money we throw at the "problem" will just get vacuumed up by the same corrupt officials running it now.
You think Republicans have any problem with mojados coming across the border and depressing wages? If they did they'd put people in jail for hiring them. GOP policy is just racism by attacking the brown people crossing the border but not the white people who make money off their labor once they're here.
Invade Mexico?
This from the same confirmation bias Googler who challenged the notion that the Afghanistan withdrawal was botched. Why don't you first form your opinion then set out to prove it? Oh wait, nm, I see you already got the memo.
No wonder Biden wanted to increase funding.
On January 20th, 2021, the very day President Joe Biden took the oath of office, Endeavors put out a news release announcing the hiring of Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, a former Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official who also served as a Biden transition advisor on Homeland Security issues.
Less than two months after Lorenzen-Strait's arrival, federal records show endeavors entered into a no-bid contract with the Department of Health and Human Services for up to $579 million and another no-bid with Homeland Security for $87 million.

Abbutt, in campaign mode, diverted $500M Fed covid funds to finance his border industrial complex to pander to his xenophobic voters
Nobody is fine with undo ented migrants coming in. You're missing the point. Again.
Oh look more nothingness
so those 2 million a month pouring over the border are all do ented?
Do you need help with getting the point? Just say so
Landlines work
Tell Harris to hold a press conf. In two weeks usa will have landlines on boarder. Might kill a few people but that many die in the heat now and it would stop the issue
Why invade Mexico make them keep the people wanting to come in USA over there. You enter the USA soil illegally you sue. It would stop the crime
Did I miss something about cellular service being down somewhere in US?
Border officials have been undercounting migrant deaths along the border, GAO says
Border Patrol agents have not been counting the total number of migrants who’ve died attempting to cross the harsh southern borderlands
Some immigrant rights advocates have estimated that as many
as 10,000 migrants have died from exposure
and other elements within the last two decades,
a number significantly higher than what border officials have stated.
The watchdog report confirms the fears of many: they just haven’t been counting them.

And of course border agents have been murdering migrants by emptying bottled water left for migrants by humanitarians.
a) it was a joke.
b) english please.
You know the ones bringing them over lie to them saying they are watering holes and not
And they know they are breaking the law going into someone else’s property without permission .
You pay by DEATH
At least you moved on from "that's rich". I guess I did you a favor on that one. Keep it up, you might develop a serviceable vocabulary.
Duh
Never give those people one penny
The 2 million figute is for all of 2021, so for starters you're exaggerating and showing your bias. We'll see if it sustains as long as it did during the Reagan/Bush amnesty, it averaged well over a million a year for about 15 years, the current 15 year average is nowhere close.
The US needs more young blood and more workers period, I think more immigration -- legal or not -- is a net good. Economic migration is mostly circular, believe it or not net migration from Mexico in the last decade or so has been negative.
I would agree the US needs more skilled labor however the "legal or not" bull is a nonstarter. I mean, unless you want to hire undo ented workers. How many do you employ?
You joined the media furore, let the newspapers and network TV tell you what to think about it. The Afghanistan withdrawal went fine, but I understand you permanent war dead enders are too indoctrinated to ever say otherwise.
