Giuliani asked Bowers to certify fake electors. Bowers refused. AZ electors for Biden were empaneled and certified. Then John Eastman asked Bowers to decertify the electors based on "plenary authority." Bowers again refused.
Then on Jan 6th, AZ US Rep Andy Biggs called Bowers to ask him again to decertify AZ's electors.
Around the same time, Sen Ron Johnson schemed to pass Mike Pence two slates of fake electors -- from WI and MI.
I still don't think it will lead to anything significant in the end, but this is likely their best shot at Trump so far. At the end of the day he still has too many folks around him willing to fall on the sword.
