We have had our six nastiest summers the last 25 years since breaking a record for number of 100+ degree days that stood for 50 years until 1998. If it was just an isolated hot year happens but this isn't that. Don't know where you get the idea it'll take 280 years to go up only 1 Celsius.

2021 was cool but 2020 had just as many 100+ days in SA as 1998 which used to be considered a wildly hot year.
