So many exciting, up and coming teams. The parity at the contender level is awesome but that 2nd/3rd tier of possible playoff spoilers should also make for a fun year. NO, ATL, Memphis and TO are on my list of other teams i’ll try and catch more of.
Damn, you don’t have the stomach to watch us do what all those “ exciting “ young teams did to get them young nice franchise center pieces? Can’t have it both ways big dog….. I’m just watching our players gain more seasoning.

Well, the "new look" Nets got curb-stomped by New Orleans 130-108.

Ben Simmons with the impressive 4/5/5 stat-line along with 3 turnovers

How long before Durant asks for another trade, Ben Simmons starts faking injuries, and Kyrie Irving falls of the end of the flat earth?

After perusing tonight’s box scores the Spurs have the least talented group and it’s not even close. Utah is smoking Denver, Indiana has lots of scorers, and SGA will keep OK above 20 wins. We’re a lock for a 18% chance at VW

There is an alternative timeline where some of the dip s on this website got their wish and we traded Dejounte and a boatload of future picks for Simmons and are now equally as terrible but with no picks to show for it.

Spurs likely won't survive in San Antonio if this scenario plays out. We'd suck for at least the next 5-7 years.
Even if we get tall Tony parker we still going to suck for years wit him. We don't have a Dave to hand him the torch like Timmy or like how Timmy handed it to Kawhi tbh

Every defeat should lead us to better odds of landing Wemby or Scoot otherwise this season is a waste

I wish Patty didn’t re-sign with them. He’s too good for that toxic group.

Not sure why but I just suddenly think what would happen on ST if the Spurs got #1 but did not draft VW.

I watched the game. Poeltl and Johnson played well. Vassell shot looked rushed but he was super aggressive, trying to get back in the game. That's just immaturity. Jones played alright but otherwise a non factor. Primo had moments both good and bad. McDermott played well. Richardson didn't. Collins looked bad also. It'll take a season to get use to sochan. He is doing the little things but he won't raise our very low floor.

Scheme wise, I don't know. We didn't run many nice plays and defensively I only liked the zone with sochan at top. But pop didn't go with that for long. We weren't aggressive trying to get steals. Without Murray, our rebounding is pretty bad.

Spurs looked extactly how I thought: like a G-League team. Let's hope this continues. The next game against the Pacers is another must lose game. If we make sure to get the L there, I'm confident we'll start the season 0-10

Yeah we need to out the nail in the coffin by December such that the play-in isn’t even attainable post AS break when other teams join the tank because of underperformance, injuries etc.

Can’t temp coach Pop late season to win meaningless games. I’d be ting Keldon down for 2 games at a time if he even gets a papercut down the stretch.
