The processor designs for TSMC come from us. So even if China could take Taiwan without destroying it, and TSMC workers were willing to just go to work for CCP owned TSMC, China still wouldn't be able to make advanced microprocessors.
That's not even considering that China probably can't take Taiwan and we'd immediately go to war if they tried, as bb said.
