Damn. He slapped his chick and we released him? Watch the Lakers sign him and go on to win les in a few years…Basketball is bigger than private domestic abuse
He's been bulking up. Juicing?
Then roid-raging on the girlfriend? Pure speculation. We need facts.

Amazing that literally no one has been able to get the inside scoop with confirmation to the point of running a story.
While it is certainly fair for the Spurs to say they can't talk about it (and it might be the case for legal reasons, especially in regards to protecting any potential victims*), in pro sports the spotlight is too bright to just expect to be able to dodge the story coming out.
*I have some experience in this realm, and if we are dealing about a situation of a workplace incident where the Spurs have details of something happening that involved a victim, the Spurs would put themselves in major trouble and legal liability by speaking on this matter any further. A victims family could sue the out of them if they did anything to expose the victim.
It's one way of looking at it, I guess.
This is prescient. It almost seems to indicate that they knew something was up with Josh and they aren't sad to see him go? We remember how Keldon looked after DJM got traded, but he seemed completely unfazed by Primo getting released. On the other hand, seemed like Primo was "one of the guys" from the outside looking in? Maybe he did something SO bad that no one on the team feels bad for him?
That can’t be it. You wait that out and trade him for a couple 2nds. None of this makes sense.
18 hours later nothing has leaked?![]()
Man, what the . Just what the .
I don't even know what to think. I guess nobody does. Seeing the Spurs' working of the situation points to the worst of things. Just terrible news all around.
That would honestly be the best case scenario. Sad and bad for the Spurs of course, but at least nothing truly bad goes down.
Thinking on it though, if it had been such a mental-health related issue, the Spurs would've handled it a very different way; at least stating the reason, instead of literally avoiding any kind of explanation and just hoping the kid well. It's gotta be serious or legally bound to be said that way.
Pure speculation...
He smashed his GF's face in Roid-rage. When she wakes up, she maybe calls the cops, but also calls Pop or Buford. Maybe goes down to the Spurs offices to show the work he did on her.
Pop calls in Primo who either angrily admits it or is defiant in his response.
Pop pulls the plug on him.
While that could explain things, it is pure speculation.
But everyone wants to speculate on his demise……. Do anyone have any balls on this board?
Everybody assuming Eubanks' wife is referencing domestic violence but I'm not so sure. Primo and his gf still have each other's pictures on social media.
Pure speculation, but my guess is the victim is not the girlfriend. Possibly underage.
if they waived him for beating up his girl the Spurs will waive a lot of players in the future
It'd put some fear into them. Have them pay the girl off, REAL quick. Big $.
Perhaps it's a Ray Rice type of incident.
I think maybe he was a kid who was not ready for all the pressure that came with his pick - I have seen it a lot of times where someone gets put into a position they are just not ready for and then all of a sudden they do something really stupid and get fired. I remember one guy who we hired I kept telling everyone he was good but he was not ready for the position but I was shot down and he got it. The kid was really good but did not have the skill set for the position he was put in.....Six months latter he was fired the dude was spending 70% of his time surfing porn when they did a search on his computer they had a stack about two inches that were just solid sites of different porn - Everyone was so Shocked as he was also a really nice kid....I think some people just can't ask for help or admit they not ready and just self sabotage
Good.
I don't give a if you are a $100M NBA player or some dip working at Taco Bell, no room for domestic violence in this world.
Frankly, what the Browns are doing with Deshaun Watson right now is pathetic.

Yeah I don't know if it's DA. If that's really the bar, then this organization will never even sniff relevance ever again tbh.
It has to be something worse. But if it isn't, then holy crap the FO messed up bad. We just gotta hope that Pop is out after this year and the new ownership group starts putting some real heat on BWrong.
Would the Spurs willing to pay 8 + mil just because a player says that they want to quit? Something like would be a buyout or asking the player to retire because a team should not be on the hook by waiving him if a player just wants to quit his contract.
Except there is and especially if you're a highly paid professional athlete. It sucks but that's just how the world works.
If this FO really waived him because of a DA incident and he doesn't even end up getting charged with a crime, then they're absolute dead in the water going forward. Sorry tbh.
I'm not saying it's right. I'm saying it happens a lot everywhere, so this won't be the last case where they will have to waive a guy for doing it. And it won't always be your back up PG.
Times are changing.
I'm hoping that's not the case for Primo, because I am genuinely not wishing any ill will on the kid. Not jumping to any conclusions until we know the full story.
BUT society is becoming more aware of and offended by these type of issues. If this ends up being a Parker/Barry-type situation...that used to get brushed under the rug. In this day of social media and instant news, it doesn't anymore. Udoka recently got canned because he got caught with his hand in the wrong cookie jar.
Interesting. Supposedly, he never made it back to San Antonio from Minnesota. Might be some truth to it. If that's the case, some team will pick him up. Might tie in to him possibly being sexually abused in his earlier years and blaming his sexual perversions or fetishes on it. Perhaps this wasn't the first incident and he was warned. When this happened, it was a zero- tolerance cut. Man, this is some wild .
