    Peddling?!?!

Those are the facts. Anyone who doesn't realize that is a gullible rube duped by MSM/Big Tech.
No they aren’t the facts. Especially the last two paragraphs are strictly opinion.

Facebook and Twitter just made a nothingburger story more of a story than it otherwise would have been. Bad faith conspiracy peddlers like TSA won't try to tell you why anyone should give a about Hunter's laptop beyond that.

Facebook and Twitter restricted sharing of the article, before reversing course amid allegations of censorship.

Zuckerberg said that getting the decision wrong "sucks".

"When we take down something that we're not supposed to, that's the worst," Zuckerberg said in a rare extended media interview on the Joe Rogan podcast.

The story was widely available in the NYPost before and after all these claims and the election.
The reach of the story was severely limited by the actions taken by Twitter/Facebook and the veracity of the story was severely impacted by the MSM when they all parroted the bull letter by the 50 former intelligence officials.

Concerted by who? What’s your conspiracy here?
    FBI/former intelligence officials/Big Tech/MSM

Unprovable claim. Unlikely as well, as the story was widely available and Brandon still kicked the ever living out of Trump.
Unprovable yes, unlikely no. "44,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin separated Biden and Trump from a tie in the Electoral College" https://www.npr.org/2020/12/02/94068...the-presidency

Trump pollster John McLaughlin found that 4.6% of Biden voters would have changed their minds if they had known about it, easily enough to flip results in key states. Another survey by The Polling Company showed that even more Biden voters in seven swing states — 17% — would have switched their votes if they had been aware of the laptop and other stories.

One positive is the way Elon is triggering all the grifters who are whining about all the exposure bucks they provide for twitter, and why it should exempt them from freaking $8/month he’s shining a light on all the useless en led bags, that’s for sure.

verification drives users to the site and drives engagement. its also true that verified users want the verifications because it drives engagements TOWARD them. it cuts both ways but its mutually beneficial. not sure what good faith twitter has to charge for it.

as far as i'm aware, youtube/facebook/insta dont charge high end users for the privilege of using their platform, and they share ad revenue. if somebody wants to pay to have their tweet promoted... different story

False. The story was restored before the election by both Twitter/Facebook. The NYPost stood by it.

    FBI/former intelligence officials/Big Tech/MSM
All these people did what? Spell out the conspiracy…

The firings, which could see as many as half of Twitter’s 7,500 workers dismissed, came as

Musk revealed brands had begun pulling their advertisements, leading to what he said was a “massive drop in revenue”.

Audi, General Motors, General Mills and Pfizer

were among those who paused spending on the service, amid growing concern about the direction Twitter will take under Musk.

All Musk needs to do is bump up the hype so he can take Twitter public again and get out of it, but at this point he's like a house flipper whose improvement plans depend on fecal smearing and arson.
