I was listening to sportstalk radio in LA today and Fred Rogan (the Chanel 4 local sports guy for like the last 40 years) starts joking around saying he has an inside source with the Clippers and Kawhi is "getting close."

He says it over and over in response to every question, "He's getting close."

His sidekick finally asks "How close"? And Rogan deadpans "Closer than yesterday but not as close as tomorrow. He's getting close."

You could almost hear them suppressing their laughter in the background.

Did a quick peek at the stats pre-game and it seems that they go through Offensive droughts and play at a methodical pace. That combined with the Kawhi injury disruptions are likely the main culprits.
