This is what is a bit scary.
there are a significant bunch of Nationalists in Russia who want Putin out and want total mobilization of their entire country. Nukes to be used tactically. They are all in on total destruction of Ukraine and Russia if necessary. Putin is walking on a skinny line right now, the general population and the status quo for their government are the more sane individuals who Putin still courts.

This war was so fkn stupid.
It now seems it could be Putin or some nut(s) who wants both countries in a stone age condition after this conflict is over.
"Mother Russia will Rise from the Ashes" kinda stuff. The world does not need this. We cannot make Russia into a total angry mess at the end of this imo.

There are presidential elections in Turkey next June and it doesn't look good for Erdogan. Maybe he wants to enact emergency measures and skip the elections? Or it's the Kurds or Syrians or ...
