By 300 A.D. it was polluted with so many fake doctrines that it was truly no longer "Christian".
A completely fake "Christianity" in name only continued to rise.
Crusades and other mass murder bull were not performed by any true Christians.

By WWI and WW2, think about. People killing people on the other side all while attending the same *Christian* religion. Ditto other religions.
