For me he’s better than Poeltl, better offense and has an outside shoot.

Best player on the team right now, at least when Sochan isn't playing.
Where are all the Zollins haters?
I like Zollins and he’s cheap. With the rebuilding, anyway the Spurs would contemplate on trading him for picks? What would he fetch next trade deadline if ever?
with his current contract? probably a treasure chest of seconds
Tbh I rather he reacts like that. It shows he’s not taking from anybody. Sometimes the problem with the Spurs is the lack of “enforcer” type at ude. It helps rally the team.
zach is literally not afraid to throw down
I shared that because Trae is getting ratioed for not being aware of the trash talk and not the dunk being what provoked Zollins and to add to the irony, he himself is now the butt of Twitter humor because of Marcus Smart and him rolling around on the court. I too like Zollins' fire but when we are not tanking, he will have to try and not get thrown out of games because of it.
I’d like for them to keep ol’ Zollins
Wasn't too sure in the beginning, but in retrospect, he has been a pretty decent addition especially for the price.
Part of it, to me, is MPJ was jawing off against one of the worst teams in the league after a dunk. That's low-tier, sissy stuff. It's the end of the season and let the Spurs walk off with some dignity.
As for Trae Young, players vote for All-Stars every year. Trae didn't get as many player votes as he has players on his team. He has teammates that literally didn't vote for him.
I mean, Porter needs to be smarter there. He did get ejected after all, and while this was a meaningless game there are players he'll see in the playoffs that have made a living getting into heads of the mentally soft to solicits this exact reaction from the opponents best players.
i would guess a good number of these comments are pointing out that it doesn't happen to Trae because one generally needs to actually play defense to get dunked on
Zach always wants the smoke and I'm all for it. Every team needs someone with some grit/toughness that doesnt let nonsense go unchecked
Porter's teammates don't like him, either. He's a bit of a black hole. There was a clip last year of a fast break where he had an obvious and easy pass for an assist, and took it himself. The looks on the bench were incredulous.
Pop wants some nasty.
I think he made progress on not fooling too much lately. In the last game some calls against him were really ty.
Speaking of fights, Trey Lyles got into a dust-up with Brook Lopez last night in SAC v. MIL. First, another one of those inexplicable things where the refs gave Lopez two techs and a toss for an action where only one was reasonable.
Second, the ref couldn't remember who Trey Lyles was, so kept referring to him as "number 41."
That’s some funny![]()
The NBA’s fear of physicality is hurting the game. I’m not saying I’m in favor of fighting per se, but the refs seem to be over reacting in all of these situations. I think some level of intensity is definitely needed, because it seems to be sorely lacking more than anything on most games.
I think I've forgotten who Trey Lyles was
