Twenty years and a few months after the launch of the SpursTalk forums, it feels like it's an appropriate time for another roll call. We celebrated the glorious end to David Robinson's career together and lived through the unimaginable success of the Tim Duncan era. After a couple of down months, the basketball gods had enough of their favorite team suffering and blessed us with another generational talent. (Thanks, basketball gods, it was a rough time. Almost felt like a Rocket fan for a minute there.)

Even before the Victor Wembanyama lottery win, we were planning on following through with some much-needed forum upgrades this summer. Full details will be released in the coming weeks. It safe to say we're going to have to hire at least a couple more Slovenian hamsters to keep the servers going.

Anyways, time for an old-fashioned roll call. How many Spurs fans will check-in in the next 24 hours? Let's find out. We need some old school representation from MIA posters like Ghost Writer and Solid D. Plus it'd only be right for the legendary French Spurs fan Bruno to drop by, tbh.

The legendary, if not roller coaster ride of a 2003 season and championship that year really put this website on the map. From the 19-13 start (not having a backup PG and TP struggling, Manu and Speedy injured was a huge problem, Anthony Goldwire sucked and Jason Hart was in the D-League) to absolutely going on a tear beginning mid January and overcoming the 11 game deficit of Dallas to being able to tank game 82 against them and still finish 60-22 and best record in the NBA, to having four painfully hard-fought but successful six-game series victories and winning that championship. It was an epic time at the age of 9 for me to be living in the great City of San Antonio.
