As I recall Cannon's previous rulings didn't go over so well in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Legal outcomes are not as easy to predict as one might think.

I would think Judge Cannon would count herself lucky only to have suffered the one reversal. OTOH, this case could be crucial for Trump regardless of the outcome. Must be hard for true believers like Aileen Cannon to do the right thing instead of wielding the power of the bench to shield Trump, like she did before. This time around we're dealing with an indicted defendant, the stakes are higher.

People are getting worn out with the same ole, same ole. Trump is a solid loser headed for losertown again.
Mr. Trump brought these charges upon himself by not only taking classified do ents, but by refusing to simply return them when given numerous opportunities to do so.
These allegations are serious and if proven, would be consistent with his other actions offensive to the national interest, such as withholding defensive weapons from Ukraine for political reasons and failing to defend the Capitol from violent attack and insurrection.

Apparently, Trump distrusts the media and had his aide Margo Martin record the conversation to ensure they didn't lie about what he said, which is how the tape wound up in the Special Counsel's possession when they seized her laptop. But CNN got a transcript of the perfect, perfect interview, and, wow, it's bad!
“As president, I could have declassified, but now I can’t," he said, audibly rustling a pile of papers on his desk. “Secret. This is secret information. Look, look at this. This was done by the military and given to me.”
Later he added: “All sorts of stuff – pages long, look. Wait a minute, let’s see here. I just found, isn’t that amazing? This totally wins my case, you know. Except it is like, highly confidential. Secret. This is secret information. Look, look at this.”
This would appear to be an admission that (1) Trump retained classified do ents; and (2) he knew perfectly well that they remained classified even after he removed them from the White House. So much for all that idiotic chatter about telepathically transubstantiating everything he could stuff in his pockets on the way out of the Oval Office with the power of his mind.
Walt will probably end up serving more time than Yam s, as Yam s will throw him to wolves to save his ass, imo.
Trump is on tape showing classified do ents to an unauthorized individual. There’s no saving his on ass.
