God this is going to be a long five months waiting for Like a Dragon Gaiden to release. Thankfully it'll be on Steam Day 1 so I won't have to buy it twice like I did so much of the rest of the series (once on Playstation at launch, then once on Steam when the PC port dropped to get the game in Japanese).

So I'm playing Forbidden West on PS5. Is there some way to play it on performance mode without screen tearing out the ass? I have to change it to balanced mode, which runs fine but I'd rather have the higher FPS with performance. Not sure if that's a known problem or if it's something to do with my settings or tv.
Ugh XBox showcase with more live service Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls Online crap instead of having a real Fallout and a real Elder Scrolls. Though nice to see Persona 3 Reload official now and to see Like a Dragon 8 with an early 2024 release date and with a section in Hawaii. blade 2 looked pretty meh.
Starfield's gameplay looks kind of bland. No wonder the trailer was mostly crap cutscenes. Maybe it'll look more interesting in the Starfield Direct after the XBox presentation.
Capcom's Path of the Goddess looks like it could be pretty interesting though
What a ing joke! They're releasing a Series S with a 1TB SSD for $350. ing $100 for extra 500GB. What kind of idiot wouldn't get the Series X for $150 more when it has a gpu 3x as strong as the Series S?

Performance mode not only can't hit 60 fps, it can't even stay in the HDMI 2.1 VRR window at 48 fps. I'd only buy this on PS5 if you're ok playing the 30 fps mode. Looks like I'll be waiting for it to come to PC in a couple of years since I have hardware a little stronger than PS5 and I actually get perfect sync down to 40 fps on my PC, plus I can use FSR or RSR upscaling. Damn and was really excited for this game and was completely sold on getting at launch until seeing this. I hope they don't Final Fantasy VII Rebirth up like this too.

Dont get it, if you’re remaking a game, why aren’t you giving it the full experience? Looks like a half assed job.
The female protagonist was an add-on for the PSP version of the game. It was never in the PS2 version of the game which this is a remake of.

Pretty sure I'm just going to put my $60 in PSN credit to Spiderman 2 unless it turns out the performance was actually decent and Square Enix just pushed out a trash old build or something for the demo. They're claiming there will be no Day 1 patch which I don't ing get at all if the game is going to have the same performance of the demo.

FF16 looks dope as . I’m not really a Final Fantasy fan by any means but this one really does stick out. I mighttttt buy it day 1. I’m craving a long term project and haven’t played a true RPG game since Witcher 3 (Mass Effect Legendary edition doesn’t count) so this game looks prime.

Apparently a well known leaker has leaked that Shin Megami Tensei V will get a multiplatform announcement in early July. Thank ing god, I really want to play it but not on Switch after we have kept hearing rumors of it coming to PC and PS5.

Apparently the combat is similar to Devil May Cry which I have not played. You can counter, parry, or block any kind of attack and use magic and a teleport dash quite easily. Check out the free demo
Nah I can't touch demos. If I stop playing a game I'll almost never pick it up again, so if I played it and liked it but didn't think it was worth spending $70 yet I'd end up never playing the full game. Yeah I would finish Zelda first if I were you. I have been playing Final Fantasy since Nintendo so I am obviously bias, but this game looks like a can't miss next gen masterpiece.
