surprised he wasnt laying bricks this time tbh
Sochan already hitting mid range shots is great to see
Wesley coming to summer league strong.
Neal's was awesome but that was before the tournament format, and the spurs won the tourney the anderson/simmons year
He’s learned to keep that elbow in
One of the commenters pointed out that Sochan has a hitch in his shot. He interrupts his momentum and then restarts it. I guess if it works it works, but I hope he can un-learn that bad habit and that it won't take too long to do so.
Still has a little hitch that should go away but he's taking his guide hand off which is good. That's what was ing up his free throws.
If Wesley can fix his problems at the rim people are going to be really surprised this year.
I'm really versatile, I can not play good man defense, I can also not play good help defense.
Good. As I’ve stated in other threads, Wesley is the guy I’m keeping my eye on the most this Summer. He’s got as much potential as anyone on the team not named Wemby with his physical gifts. If he can improve (considerably) at finishing contested shots around the basket, he could be a really good player for us moving forward. He just has to do it. He’s got everything else.
That first video of Pop in the foreground before they plan over as Wemby slides over to shoot more 3s....haha. I was like "what the F is the ol man doing looking like lonely bas on the edge of the screen"
in a game against Atlanta, he showed he could
Word is Jeremy won't play in the Summer League but will be there.
It appears to be a practice-speed move. It's deliberate to make sure he hits a spot in his shooting motion. It can be eliminated once the muscle memory is set.
This what people be underestimating. If all these guys can up their game the team will be way better as they are actually tryin to win games. This also includes Wemby who made a big leap with the Mets compared to his season at ASVEL
Word is that right knee soreness that ended Jeremy's season isn't yet 100% so they'll keep him out. In the above videos, his stroke looks a little better. That hitch is still there but he's getting his guide hand off of it quicker so it's not as much of a two-handed shot anymore.
As a Spurs fan, I would really love it if Blake Wesley, Malaki Branham, and Jeremy Sochan all solved the biggest flaws in their respective games by October. However, I don’t consider it “underestimating” not to count on it happening.
Dude's barely played in 3-4 months and he still has knee soreness? not good
No Bassey on the Sacramento roster, is he elgible to play or has he been in the league too long?
Don't like to hear about the knee. That was months ago.
