i dont think there was much left by way of expectations for kai jones. its why a 3rd year player, former FRP is still playing summer league
but hornets should have a pretty fun year all things considered. i think miller will be fine and settle in
they have a pretty solid roster imo. if nick smith can give them some scoring off the bench as a rookie would be quite a bonus for them
I hope hes at least watching the game its been a little physical so he can see whats waiting for him when he comes in.

I know Kai has been awful but look at how Charlotte guards dominate the ball.
Spurs have a system that empowers big men with chances for them to stay involved.
Charlotte just runs a high P’nR or swings the ball around the perimeter endlessly.
Who is this Kabaca guy, i want to see more of him.
They really did and I didn’t hate either pick. Kai was always a longshot but Bouknight has been a real disappointment.
We’ll see how the rest of summer league goes but these project players are making a great case for why this team felt comfortable running it back without making major splashes. Clearly these guys are worth the deeper look.
How’s he doing out there? Interested in his back story and how he got here from one of the biggest Euro clubs.
How does Summer League compare with G-League? G-League is probably a slight step above, based simply on preparation and organization, right?
Asking because we're seeing great things out of Barlow (16/8 in G-League) and Champ (16/6/2 in G-League) and still have Bassey coming back (23/9 in G-League)
Barlow was the MVP this game. Champagnie ran out of steam in the second half. Barlow was the same energy the whole way through and played a bigger role on defense. But both of them had an incredible start to summer league.
I used to adore Bill Walton, but I'm a psychedelics guy so take that with a grain of salt.

OK, serious question: say you can trade Barlow or Champagnie for any 2nd rounder in any of the past 2 drafts. Other than Nembhard, how many guys would you take over them?
I in loved him. So much fun. How can you dislike a guy who loves basketball as much as you do?
His first shot looked great, real smooth. But he’s look slow footed in the open court and has looked out of control/nervous with the ball
summer league is above g league because euro players & all draft picks play.....euroleague players dont play in g league because they are in season......
