Wemby didn't even look like he was trying. Looks like he was just hanging out on the court. Probably was just making sure he didn't get injured.
Better he had this kind of game than a dominant one imo. Get humbled a bit and realize you gotta work on your game.

You mean, doesnt want to play center? Is he not a center because hes playing a lot on the perimeter? Because he’s failing miserably doing that. Which means you should have come to a different conclusion.
We need an actual PG. Maybe a player who actually knows how to throw an entry pass or the very least look up and pass the ball to the wide open big man on the break.
Also Wemby can go himself if he thinks he should be playing in the perimeter right away. Listen to the coaches and get his ass close to the basket.

I kind of figured this would happen when the Spurs did there introduction and had him come out cold and start shooting he was bricking everything. You could tell it was getting to him I can only imagine playing today in front of that crowd after all the Britney crap you had going on was doing to his nerves.
This is how he has played in the French league if anyone paid attention. He doesn’t exert himself because at the end of the day hes just like any other big man who gets winded quicker than smaller guys.
Tbh he was setting some weak ass screens. I just don't see that being his game.

Played every minute alongside another center, either Barlow or Bediako. He’s definitely too weak to be a post player. Was just very surprised he got literally no pick and roll action.
I hope this will lower the hype/pressure a little bit at least.
He played way better against the Ignite with a team that were familiar with each other. Hopefully they all just need to be more comfortable.
