Wemby has so much skill that I honestly keep forgetting that he is only 19.

Clearly, Blake isn't a true PG but he's getting reps in that spot to see if he can develop those skills. I get that its hard to not just on him. And constantly complain about needing a PG as if they can never acquire one down the road.

I don't think anyone is calling for Branham to be traded, but it's hard to ignore a 1/17 performance from someone who is expected to be a rotational piece next season.
I'm sure he'll bounce back, but this is what game threads are for. This game is what it was. I'm sure Malaki definitely wants to burn the tape after this one, too

Wesley's defense and ball pressure was one of the reasons they got back in the game.
He - and Branham - is far from a 'buzzkill' and just needs time (like all prospects) to put it together.
You know, just like Wemby, Sochan and all our young players.
I thnk one of those scrub Gs on the bench woulda feed Wemby alot more
None of these guys are starting next Wemby in the regular season. Why are some people acting like this is the Spurs A team.
Maybe if the "A" team could've pulled more than 22 wins last year.
Some of them will likely be rotation players next season and are our future along with wemby
Rotation players none of them are better than Keldon, Vassell,Sochan and even Tre running the point.
Summer league is just a glorified practice.
Actually I checked the box score and edited my post to Wesley showed signs of life. Still playing ludicrously too fast but when the game slows down for him he may be OK but for now it’s Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride in the meantime.
Overall some wildly inconsistent performances as a team when you compare the first two and second two games. Overall fun to watch and about what we’d expect.

But the compe ion will have better players who aren't playing now too.
Spurs got beat tonight with Wemby having a great game and Scoot out and Sharpe shooting poorly. Who did they get beat by?

None these games mean anything.. Spurs lost like 20 games last year by less tha 10 points. That's with Vassell missing a bunch of games and Sochan. If Wemby is healthy he will make difference. Also this is only there 2nd game together they are trying to figure out how to play together.
