man would love to see rice more....Sucks if this is the only game he plays
Rice looks like those point guard.

Detroit likely wins this game cause we’re sitting our guys, but I still wanna see us execute our sets, even if they do end in Bediako missing layups, throwing up wild shots, or fumbling the ball out of bounds![]()
as far as i know, rice never really played PG in college, so its kind of impressive how smooth an operator he looks out there. looks more like a point guard than primo ever did
So, Longhorns Homer here....and 11 is my favorite number. I am glad Rice, the Longhorn, is wearing 11.
thought the pun was pretty obvious
I hate all things TU, but Rice looks terrific.
nice pass by cissoko, but couldn't he have just gone up for the reverse layup?
Detroit jacking up threes like their playing in NBA game.
Nice and-1 by Wesley, crafty finish
They're. So. Open.![]()
I think Blake is trying too hard to act like a pass-first type PG, rather than being what he is, which is a score-first combo guard.
nice play by blake. much better than the lazy midrange pullup he had a couple possessions ago
I like Blake but he is trying way to hard
Reminds me of a Rice grad and NBA champion who wore #11 for the Spurs.

he played on and off the ball during his time at UT
Wesley in the pick & roll: runs into Barlow![]()
That was comically bad by Wesley.
His court vision. Man.
I’m a diehard Texas fan and watched almost every game. He was definitely a secondary ball-handler at times, particularly when our PG Marcus Carr was on the bench, but he was never the primary ball-handler, mostly because Carr was already established as a 4th year player, whereas Jabari was a 1st-year transfer, and he played well off-ball anyways.
Jabari came off the bench off for us last year in a Manu-type role and was our second leading scorer. He was also by far our most clutch shooter, and always finished the game on the floor, similar to Manu. But he definitely has natural PG abilities, despite the fact he didn’t get to showcase as much as I’m sure he would’ve liked due to our roster situation.
do the spurs even pick up wesley's 3rd year option, tbh?![]()
I just don't understand trying to make Wesley into a pg. He has absolutely 0 pg instincts to work with.
Wesley all over the place right now![]()
Ok why is Sidy trying to pass the ball after getting the whistle.
