I think this one needs some context.
Who thought this was a good idea regardless?
Mack's #10 UNC losses to previously 1-5 Virginia. Texas should at least leapfrog them.

This is what makes college football so fun.
You got a bunch of older teenagers and young 21 year olds, many who dont know wft is going on and coaches who are basically trying to spoon feed them on how to play because they can basically just lose their minds. And we get all these nutty games with the teams who are not loaded with Georgia type professional athletes who can make up blatant mistakes by just being strong and fast.
Week to week its just nuts. Pro football is really boring in comparison.
Mormons ruining Caleb William's CFB career
Utah 4-straight Wins over SC Trojans
Duke was looking good against FSU, then they totally collapsed.
A damn shame too
Ya a combination of things. Dukies gambled on 4th Down on the FSU goal line instead of extending their lead to 6. After the turnover on downs, Noles drove down the field to take the lead
Duke HC decides to pull Leonard with ankle injury. After Dukies 3&Out, the Noles drove and finished them off
I wasn't able to watch the beginning. But seems Duke's Front7 was impressive and Noles had to rely on their 2nd Tier attackers. Wilson left the game (had 5 catches), Coleman only 2 catches and RB Benson had one of his weakest games
The Deebo type transfer from South Carolina (Bell) is ideal 2nd Half bruiser. He can run the ball or play TE. And FSU has a strong backup RB and decent 3rd stringer.
FSU probably has the most offensive weapons in the Nation and the cupboard was bare just 3 seasons ago

Don't make me Tomahawk CHOP on yo head
I’ll say it again
Being a FSU fan is a character flaw
You seem to not like Native American teams![]()
I miss the Cleveland Indians and the Wash Redskins.
I think not purposely it’s just FSU and really Atl not so much.
He has awesome first quarter stats over his career.
OU should have blown out ucf. Just like UT should have blown out Houston
Caught the end. Brutal. Obvious PI flag at the goal line picked up. ASU 4th Down and mid distance goes the other way for Pick 6
Agreed. I think it was even better before everyone went spread offense but that offense increases the probability of upset.
The College atmosphere is crazier and kids at that age are more dedicated/desperate.
FSU vs Miami is coming up. The alumni have to come and explain how nutty the game will be. It always comes down to the end.
Or Manning
Washington should have blown out Arizona St. Lots more.
Its college football.
What the UT game does for me is make some serious flaws clearer.
What was supposed to be a good secondary is not good. 2 Safeties are incredibly slow and one other can’t play the position. One good safety, a true freshman. But there are others that can be tried at the spot with athletic talent.
And lots more. It will be interesting to see how they address different situations that can be fixed. Some cannot with the current roster.
But overall UT definitely has the most talent they have had in a long time.
Pass rush can mask that, and it was just not present. Part of that was some great officiating, but whatever they never should have lost that lead. Would have liked to see them run it more effectively so the defense wasn't on the field as much.
Totally agree.
They can’t get a pass rush with 4. The defensive ends are not good at rounding the corner, they get driven up field and by the QB. Anthony Hill, true freshman lb, can get after the pass rusher but when they put him on the field he can also make big mistakes (that long run against Wyoming he was totally in the wrong gap)
And now we have at least 4 defensive backs injured. Watts, Holmes, Catalon, Brooks and played an injured slot defender at CB Gilbeau, who had not played due to injury. We will be starting possibly 2 true freshman as DBs. And then moving others around as cover. The slow safeties are not injured.
One thing that might have been a real turning point is putting 7-8 new players on D after being up 21-0. We already play soft in the 2ndary and Houston went right down the field and scored. Our basic D is bend but don’t break because of pass rush and ultra slow safeties (Taffe, Thompson) it’s not working. So now we got a freshman back there who is super athletic but will make mistakes (D. Williams)
I will say scoring on a drive to put us ahead with Malik Murphy as QB and running true freshman Baxter down their throats on the left side was pleasing. Also using Savion Red on 4 down I think 3 times and converting on short yardage was a no brainer instead of trying to sneak the all power Ewers up the middle behind center. Lots to be fixed, should be “fun”
Oh
Collin Simmons coming in next year at DE should start immediately given how our DE are playing right now. He is Anthony Hill, Derrick Williams level athletic. Maybe even more so.
Lol what is their deal with not running the ball. Same with Tech.
