I'm old enough to remember a few weeks ago when Pop said the emphasis over the off-season was playing with pride on the defensive end.

Spurs look like the Washington Generals whenever Wemby isn't on the floor.

We got a long way to go, boys and girls
It’s the same WITH him on the floor. I’m not defending him just because of who he’s supposed to be. He’s a reason for struggles as well. It’s up and down

After tonight's loss, we're headed to Memphis Grizzlies territory. At least their point differential is respectable.

This might be a 30 win team at best. I mean yeah it’s a full season to turn it around but we literally have no vets with experience, and all just young players that only know how to hero ball.

even the contested shots against Spurs look like easy shots, it's really unbelievable.

It's funny how Pop seems to only experiment with bringing Vassell off the bench. Never Keldon or Sochan. Pop decided Sochan, Keldon and Collins would start no matter what.

    Vassells blown layup....
If he would have had court awareness to see Wemby could have trailed for the monster slam, all Vassell would have had to do was turn around with the ball. Highlight reel in the making. Instead Wemby just pulls up at the 3 point line. He can sense no way in is Vassell going to pass it and so he just stops at the arc.

tre has single handedly gifted the knicks about 3 wide open three point shots by gambling for steals then finding himself out of the play

Honestly not that bad. They need to get Sochan in the screen game more and get Wemby some shots in the mid-post. If they're going to put him on the perimeter, they need to have someone screen for him to help him drive. The Spurs actually can win this game.

Feels like spurs should be down by 30. they're lucky to only be down 14. Knicks are prone to choking so if Wemby pulls his head out of his ass in the second half spurs can get back in it

McDermott and Graham are the vets, but McDermott is ass on defense and Graham doesn't play.

This recent run of games is exactly why I want Keldon to be spark plug off the bench or to trade for an OG Anunoby type.

Just mind blowing to me how the Spurs coaches refuse to try to put Wemby in offensive positions to be successful. I don't even think he needs much, but god damn its either take a 3, get the ball in the post where he can't really shine yet, or go stand in the corner while we have isolation ball.

I understood this last year, but now I don't get it at all.

my thought was he was going to come off the bench and play very limited minutes, but he's got nearly as much as branham, so yeah.... i have no clue

Tre? The threes hit on him that I've seen came from him going under on the screen and the other Spur not hedging up to stop the shot. Keldon did give up a three but diving for a steal and sliding into the back court.

I think our next games are - Wolves, Heat, OK, Kings, then Grizz. We at least should win one right?

15 min and 5 shots and he hasn't had a single shot attempt in the paint the entire game....I think. They need to find a way to call some plays and get him in the paint. I love Keldon but I thought he would be much better at this point in his career.
