Wemby just got hammered with no call and Pop didn’t move a muscle. No fire left in the old fart. Should’ve been ripping the ref a new asshole.
Sheesh

Pop cared a little more when Nephew was around. Not being a playoff team for the past half a decade as killed Pop's devotion to the game.
OK tanked for hard for several years straight they slowly drafted talent and are pretty good at every position with a good bench. It is going to take more then one bad season to turn this ship around as we will need to hit on our picks and hopefully get a very good coach to replace Pop after he retires
Good point. Pop even just 5 years ago would've been following the ref and get himself ejected to fire the team up.
Where's the technical on Collins, i don't see it.
Yall are funny right now, but the funniest was one of the announcers saying earlier that it was a raggedy game for the Spurs because OKC was making it that way. I thought,
"I can tell you guys don't watch our games."
Getting the team fired up when you are down 25 in the 4th isn't worth 50K even on Pop's salary
I don't man, those picks have been more misses than hits. Doesn't give me confidence.![]()
sochan calling his own number and turning it over
oh yeah... im getting close... uuuug
Never seen so many bricks in my life than tonight. Literally every jump shot isn’t even close to going in. Some are barely drawing iron. Wild.
"Passes to the GUY WHO PROTECTED HIM"!
well that's emasculating hahahaha
Refs just allow Victor to get whacked it's ing ridiculous
Goddamn, just take the ball out of Sochan's hands.
Not the point. Pop is noticeably more reserved in these situations these days. Must be an age thing.
Basketball doesn't matter, people do and the ref is a person so Pop won't lay it out
Who the is this Champagnie that Spurs signed? He's not the same guy.
PAFTO have to send a complaint to the NBA. Lakers did that for LeBron too.
I don't really understand how this whole "just observing and letting them play through mistakes" method is supposed to help things.
Maybe if Pop treated players like the adult professionals they are and got in their faces at timeouts for bad shots, not boxing out etc. instead of infantilizing them, players would actually get the message and we'd see fewer of the amateurish mistakes on both sides of the ball you wouldn't even expect to see at AAU level.
Pop let Collins mete out some punishment in return.
He got his contract. Mission accomplished.
Spurs are the only team in the league that would let a G-Leaguer like Champagne take nine shots in a game. This scrub is terrible
He definitely seems to be playing himself out of the league.
Summer league doesn't translate. He was a summer league superstar, but in the NBA, he's just not good enough right now.
Our bench is complete
