Hard to see what happened, but he didn't return.
Saw on twitter that Bassey has a season ending knee injury tonight?

They really need to change the name back to the Toros. The idea of naming minor-league teams the same as the big club is stupid
Most teams do it. Makes it easier to identify other NBA teams G League squads but I get what you are saying.
This year it’s also semi appropriate they bear the same name as there isn’t much difference between the two lol
You'd best not complain, Keldon. We've got your brother hostage.
Capital City Go Go is an awesome name for the lil Wizards.
They did some polling and found out practically no one knew it was a Spurs farm team.
Torsos y spurs sounds corny but coherent..
In a sample viewing of both teams further polling/focus groups revealed most did not know who was the big boy club.
Why is that a bad thing? I feel like it helps the Toros if folks are tricked into thinking they play quality basketball. For the big club, it shouldn't make any difference about whether folks know they have a minor-league team, and other sports don't try to have a unitary naming system. Baseball is all over the place. It doesn't matter if Austin is just a farm team, and if they're trying to market it as a product that is supposed to make a profit, then they aren't doing themselves any favors by not allowing it to have a distinct cultural iden y or by potentially misleading fans on which team they're talking about. Imagine the confusion if every team did this and you were actually a fan of the Toros in Austin trying to hype folks up for going to the "Mavericks game" only for them to realize you mean a game in Cedar Park.
I feel like the name change was from an earlier time when the company was really trying to cash in on the prestige the "Spurs" name had. Like they thought they could pitch the Raiders coming in under the Spurs umbrella. It sounds patently ridiculous, but they seriously thought so highly of themselves that they thought a legendary NFL franchise was going to gain clout by being associated with the Spurs. Different times.
They didn't own the team when it was originally named. People polled also didn't know it was a basketball team.
Looks like Wesley and Barlow not going Austin anytime soon.
Includes Bassey too. We’re going full tank boss. Expect Champagnie to get some appearance with the big club too
With Vassell still recovering, and it looking very much like Khem will never suit up for us, sending them down would leave us pretty short handed.
Interesting that Cissoko is not on the list. I figured he would get reps there this year.
Cissoko will be assigned to Austin, but he's a Spur. Those other guys are two-ways, so they're signed with both clubs.
Right, Cissoko got a regular 3 year contract, partially guaranteed, so he’s on the roster of the big club.
