a win since the beginning november will do that
called it.
I haven't been this depressed since Manu retired tbh.
Hats off to Osman with a great game and really was the strong push in the 4th offensively
Branham leads the team in assists (8 AST:0 TO) on a night without Jones interestingly enough
Great games from Bran and Zollins. If this tank stretch L streak can have one silver lining of fast tracking Bran's development it would be so classic Spurs.
If Keldon and Vassell can duo up offensively like tonight that is going to be huge going forward
Congrats to Dev Vassell for a career night in scoring. He must've heard the Halliburton debate.
Victor is in the same mold in terms of hyper focusing on that kind of thing. It should lead him to a very long career, hopefully all in the silver and black.
I liked how Duncan extended his career with intense fitness routines. TD was throwing tires one summer like a beast. They put a clip out and it looked like boot camp.
Stat of the night: only 8 turnovers for the Spurs. With their normal 15 or so this would have probably been a tight game.
Agreed that Victor is the type to be super dedicated to work on his body. Can't wait to see what another offseason can build. VW seems committed to it.
Hate to say it but Nephew was an incredible gym rat. Worked on his body and game relentlessly and it paid off big.
Victor will have a leg up on Duncan in this regard (and maybe even LeBron) both because he started this focus on career extension at a very young age, and the science is better known now. It goes beyond just conditioning: Victor puts a lot of emphasis on things like nutrition and sleep too.
What I liked about this game is that it was advertised as the "generations" game, LeBron meeting his heir apparent in Victor for the first time ever, etc... and then neither of them had great games.
I loved the fact that Victor didn't force anything, he didn't HAVE to be the man against LeBron, it was just an off shooting night for him and he was all too happy to give the ball to Devin who was having a career night. Keldon was great in the first as well.
It was more important to Victor to get the W rather than his numbers, and that's a rare quality in a superstar.
lol LeBron spent a week in SA and got nothing.
Didn't play in the G1 win and played and lost in the G2 followup
When does it become ADs team instead?
Didn't see the game. We had to play perfect to win?
Victor's going to be playing in the olympics so it's going to be hard for him to put on as much muscle as he did last summer. I remember one of JJ Red 's podcasts when he was talking about how it was nearly impossible to put on weight while playing.
Thank God we won tonight! Went tonight and the other night vs Lakers. Glad we got the W tonight and put that losing streak to bed.
Lol Detroit at 22 straight losses
If Silver was more of a Wrestling than European Soccer fan, we would hold the IST-Belt now.
The Popsniffer is gonna get a B+ from someone but this was so badly played from him. Horrific rotations and was pulling Victor and Vessel out at the dumbest times. Went back to proven lineups that didn’t work multiple times. Whole team just played well enough to overcome it. Also had no idea how to play off LeBron on the post. They would just double strong side and rain 3s on SA. Team has no idea how to rotate or double
I didn’t see the entire game, so glad to know they finally got a W! If the price to pay for the team not winning is not watching Spurs games, I’ll gladly pay up!
Except for the road game against the Nets, I already got tickets for those lol.
Why even support this team? Haters are not welcome here.
Disappointed alot of native to San Antonio Laker fans. Love to see it!
Always good to beat the Lakers and you could see that our young team needed that ...
