Certainly you know better than this. Regardless of whether a law could ever actually be passed on the federal level, the electorate doesn't think that way. Abortion is an issue on the ballot, because 1) voters think it is and 2) the candidates will play into that.

Joint tax returns are only for US Citizens ONLY with at least 4 living offspring (Regardless of age; grown up is fine as they are grandfathered in)

I'm against all immigration, but I'm also against letting foreigners get raped, trafficked, sold, drugged to death, or forced into labor or being used to pick crops like what people like good ol' Nancy and Jerry Nadler still talk about to this month.

I'm not being edgy, I'm being realistic. Spend a week in Shanghai or Tokyo or Chennai, how much % of the population isn't ethnically geocentered to their home country? How many expats are there? Not business travelers or tourists, but people who actually live there full-time.
