Why would Atlanta accept that first of all, second, why would you want to give away both of the good picks we might have this year? Why do you people want to gamble with Atlantas picks so bad? THERE'S NO PROMISES THEY WILL BE HIGH PICKS
Tyus will be overpaid, he’s barely an improvement on his brother. Why get stuck long term with an average PG?

Vic is exciting to watch too, but after him it’s such a debilitating drop off.
You're missing the one thing here. At some point Trae is going to force his way our. And then they're going to suck and those picks will be golden. Both sides have already mire than hinted at a willingness to go in different directions. Not sure what's funny here. You act like Trae is a surefire fix to what ails us. Dude...we suck defensively. Like historically so. And you think adding one of the leagues worst on ball defenders is going to be overcome by the offensive upside?.?![]()
There's zero assurance Trae forces himself out. He could be fine losing for the next decade as long as he's making 60 million a year.
We can stop blaming coaching.
If you turn the ball over 22 times, it's because most of your team can't hoop.
Also, Vic needs to gear more toward the post. I imagine he can and will improve his handle, but he needs to focus on scoring from the post. The perimeter-first stuff is trash, trash, garbage, basura, stop doing it.
"Get stronger and get on the block" should be the song of the summer.
This front office will play players to justify their ty contracts. We need to get rid of this turd.
The coach is the one willingly letting Zach Collins check into games when both Mamu and Barlow are better than him.
Ah yes, those golden picks so they can draft the next Josh Primo or Jeremy Sochan.
Yeah, true.
Don’t see Trae requesting a trade. He’s wasted 6 years in Atlanta and he hasn’t shown a sign of wanting out. Him and Victor are a match made in heaven offensively, we would have to have an absolute re at GM to not form a team around those two. Brian Wrong sucks, but even that dumbass would find it hard not to make that tandem work
Awesome sales pitch for the kind of guy we need to surround Wemby with.
You mean like how the Hawks were 100% going to trade Dejounte and then...didn't trade Dejounte?
8t always turns into Schrodinger's Front Office Cat
Whenever a deflection is needed just look in the box. It's not Pop's fault, he doesn't draft anyone, he's too busy drinking wine in the summer with people who served under Napoleon III, he relies on the front office
It's not Brian Wright's fault because he has to do what RC tells him, he's a powerless intern who is actually a genius at scouting but always undermined by a stuttering RC with bloodshot eyes
It's not RC's fault, he has transitioned away from the day to day, that's why he promoted Wright. Besides, he has to answer to the real man in charge, president Pop.
It's always someone else's fault
Holy , don't look at Sochan's line tonight, if you haven't.
Mr. Body
loves scrubby players like Primo
son of a … I’m In
I'd probably give them their picks for Trae. If Atlanta holds onto him they're probably going to be around the 6th to 16th worst record in the league for the next three years after this. Doesn't give too great of odds of getting Cooper Flagg, Ace Bailey, AJ Dybantsa, or Cam Boozer, and usually the team that gets the best player wins the trade. Two picks, their swap, and two scrubs for Trae Young ain't bad IMO and the Spurs will still have their own picks, the Toronto pick, the Chicago pick, and the Dallas and Boston unprotected swaps (well the Boston is top 1 protected).

Wow those are the same stats I put up at the game too.
trust the process
quiet tonight
huge ing got
should kill himself
Now let's not be too hyperbolic. He had more assists than you.
Damn, he had a billion with assists instead of points. But don't you know how many teams would love to have Suckhan?
it seems they took away the one at the buzzer of the 1st half …
they definitely miss 1 here and there
2nd best +/- on the team tonight
Edit: nevermind, I read the stats wrong somehow
First off, what awesome players are going to make us better in this year's draft? Even if we pick like 3rd, Rissacher is about the best you could hope for and he's 3 or 4 years away (like a MO Wagner) from making an impact.
Second, I've no idea if they'd accept that trade but it's one I'd personally live with.
Third, Tell me where you expect those picks to be. They're currently only 2 spots up on Toronto and unlike Toronto, they're getting worse, not better. They know they have a failed experiment with Dejounte and Trae and that will never play itself out with them. Take away one of those two and they're easily bottom 5 or worse. Add in an injury which is a guarantee, to a Bojan, Capella, etc and you've got a team at the bottom of the league. At some point, Detroit will get better you'd assume. Perennial bottom 3 moving forward after next year.
People said the same about Lillard and Giannis. Look at them now.
