...well, we know all about corruption here, peeg. The highest ranking soldier in the land threatened to shoot President Trump to death here.
Let us proceed...
This is why this war will drag out even further.
Putin does not want a Prighozin moment again.
5 high ranking commanders in 5 months have been sacked.
Most of these guys complained about the front, actually military stuff.
But I would not discount corruption considering Russia runs on corruption as a cheap dead end fuel.

G7 plan to use $282B in frozen russian assets as collateral to loan Ukraine $50B
Money generated by Russian financial assets frozen in Europe will soon start flowing to Ukraine, giving Kyiv a boost as it struggles to counter an advance by Moscow’s troops. Now, the West is trying to turn that trickle of cash into a flood.
Finance ministers from the Group of Seven advanced economies are discussing Friday new ways of using the proceeds from some €260 billion ($282 billion) of Russia’s foreign currency reserves that were frozen by Western countries after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
The proposal that reportedly has the broadest backing among US and EU officials involves lending as much as $50 billion to Ukraine, using the future windfall profits from Russian assets held in the European Union as collateral.
G7 finance ministers hope to agree on a way forward that can be signed off when President Joe Biden and other leaders meet for a summit in Italy next month.

Putler resupplying Ukraine with working tanks
"Sure, Jan."
& he's still holding 20% of said Ukraine.
So much for russian air defense
That's cornfields in NE..
It appears Britain may have convinced the US to let the Ukrainians use Western weapons to fire into Russia where Russian troops were very vulnerable in their attack on Kharkiv..
Russia was using the border to protect troops. If this type of attacking widens it will spread the Russian air defense very very thin.
Anyone hoping for any sort of reason for Putin to negotiate you should be hoping Ukraine uses this to great effect.
That's a pile up on 73-75 outside Bellevue, Nebraska. I used to live there. I know that area.
I'm hoping Putin gets peeved & retrieves the codes.

CNN —
The air at the Ukrainian military recruitment office where a 30-year-old hairdresser is being interviewed is filled with anxiety. The man has no military experience and is unsure whether any of his skills would be useful. At one point, the recruiter jokingly suggests that he might be able to give everyone a nice haircut.
But the man – who asked to remain anonymous given his pending military status – is there anyway. “The time has come,” he told CNN.
Under Ukraine’s new mobilization law, which came into effect on May 18, Ukrainian men are now facing a choice: Comply and face the possibility of being sent to the frontlines, or try to evade and risk penalties and condemnation.
