On the real, I don't think that's a sustainable way to maintain viewership. Her fans are **primarily** right wing extremists that are watching the WNBA for Caitlin Clark and Caitlin Clark ONLY. I think that's also why the rest of the league don't like her too much. They're probably thinking "Wait, your fanbase DESPISE us because the color of our skin, etc". But I will say this, just objectively speaking Clark is a likable individual and Reese acts like a scandalous ghetto queen. And she gets a pass because of her skin color. I also appreciate greatness and Clark is objectively great at basketball. The hater energy she receives from not only Reese, but other more established players like Taurasi is off putting. Like it's CC's fault that people enjoy watching her style of play/greatness and nobody gives a about anybody else.

I could be wrong, but from what I recall Clark made a "you can't see me" celebratory gesture after a basket against another team during the tournament. Reese literally followed her around multiple times throughout their game to taunt her. Even as CC was walking to her bench. Not even equivalent. How come nobody acts like a ghetto queen in response to Steph doing his shimmy or Dame doing his dame time?
They're the overwhelming majority in basketball (and sports in general) so yes, Reese is a perfect example of black privilege in sports.

Again, this is probably the main reason the women around the WNBA don't like her, rather than them purely being jealous (although that exists to some extent as well) of the attention she is bringing to the league. But basketball-wise, Caitlin Clark is legit!
