A common trait among stupid people: they'll fall for the most verifiably false information, so long as it conforms to their worldview. It seems like of the population of stupid people, they seem to tilt right, politically.

I know people that seem smart in every other facet of life but are so stupid when it comes to team politics.

Yeah, unfortunately, several of the smartest, most successful people I know are die-hard Trumpers. It isn't about what he says, or does, or even thinks. It's only about their take-home $$ and/or cutting regulations/taxes on their business(es).

Taxes suck, but borrowing more on the heads of our great great great grandchildren so we can be fast-food eating fatasses that overpay for every essential service isn't the answer, either.

Tina Peters gets 9 years in the pokey for giving a My Pillow guy access to Mesa County, CO voting machines.

Peters claims -- evidence-free, naturally -- that she was attempting to prevent a greater crime.

There were no discrepancies between the electronic tabulation and the count of the physical ballots in Mesa County in 2020.

Peters was convicted of three counts of attempting to influence a public servant, one count of conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation, first-degree official misconduct, violation of duty and failing to comply with the secretary of state.

Election fraud is not and has never been a widespread issue worthy of any real attention. Crazy how much Trump has brainwashed a large section of the population when there is mountains of evidence that he was going to declare himself the winner of the election regardless of how it turned out

    Trying to scare voters again

" SANFORD, North Carolina, Oct 24 (Reuters) - "Be aggressive," Jim Womack, a local Republican Party chair in North Carolina, told the grid of faces who joined the Zoom training session for volunteers to monitor voting on Nov. 5. "The more assertive and aggressive you are in watching and reporting, the better the quality of the election."
During the two-hour session, conducted from a Republican Party office featuring a placard of an AR-15 rifle and photos of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, Womack, 69, an army veteran and a retired information systems engineer, instructed 40 volunteers on how to spot "nefarious activity." He mentioned a local clergyman who accompanied dozens of Latino parishioners to a voting site "like a shepherd leading a sheep."

Iron Range woman charged with voting twice

GRAND RAPIDS — An Itasca County woman faces three felony charges after allegedly attempting to vote twice in the general election.

A criminal complaint says Danielle Christine Miller, 40, of rural Nashwauk, admitted to filling out and submitting an absentee ballot for her mother, who died in August. The fraudulent submission was flagged by election officials before it could be counted.

“The defendant admitted her deceased mother was an avid Donald Trump supporter and had wanted to vote for Trump in this election but had passed shortly before the absentee ballots were received,” according to the complaint filed last week in State District Court.

The Itasca County Auditor’s Office said it received sealed ballot envelopes containing signatures for Miller and her mother, Rose Marie Javorina, on Oct. 7. But Javorina had died Aug. 31, according to the Minnesota Vital Statistics death report, so the matter was referred to the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office.
