Texas is picking up their efforts with DT offer Stephon Shivers of Brentwood, TN after he recently posted his recruitment is open.
While still officially committed to Georgia, Texas has kept communication going through his coach since offering in March.
He says he's a fan of Texas' DL and would like to visit Austin if the staff makes him a priority.
Shivers has received two Vanderbilt crystal balls on 247 this week.

OTF added that Terry has been in touch with Texas behind the scenes for a little while now.
Georgia, Alabama and Miami are considered his leaders at the moment.
According to OTF, five-star DT Elijah Griffin of Savannah, GA and his circle have initiated contact with Texas, and the staff wants to get him to Austin before he makes a commitment later in the year.
He is headed to Georgia for an official visit this weekend, and Miami is the other team in the running.
