Yep. I don't know if it's sustainable, but the change of pace that removing him for Thompson is a huge boon for them. Sengun is young enough to improve, but I wouldn't have even thought about extending him this year.

Sengun only looks really bad against us because of Victor who negates almost everything he does offensively. Against other teams they run a lot of their offense through him. It's a reason he got a 5 year extension and Green got the trade him as soon as you can deal.

What a game! Now THAT is Spurs basketball. Just like prime Duncan years, blow out in the first half, second half meltdown, we win by a thread. Wins are wins, I'll take 'em all day. And Castle, what a beast. He rimmed that FT and got robbed. Wemby looked excellent doing exactly what I said he should, get to the top of the key/high post and force them to double. He had so many easy looks. Great game.

Indeed, I understand how much they value him. But I don't think he's a winning player. I think Jokic being in the league is giving them the impression that that archetype is innately valuable rather than Jokic being exceptional (and bigger and even more talented). Right now, the Rockets have so many different directions they can go in, and I think Sengun is possibly the weakest.

Ugly Duncan-era esque win. Would have wanted a blowout win especially since we’re playing them again in 2 days. Now they’re gonna think they are better than us by almost eeking out that win with their supposed best player benched for the 2nd half.

Castle is a beast and has ice in his veins. CP3 and Barnes are clearly solid vets to keep the guys grounded, it shows.


Vic was on some MVP but still leaves so much more to be desired with those jumpers.

When you open the game with a logo 3, you just keep lettin' fly. No problem from me. It'll also extend his career by multiple seasons.

I actually dont have any qualms about his 3s (except when he really over shoots and even then, you just got to let him be.) My issue is with the long fadeaway jumpers around the elbow and baseline. Inefficient shots that just look ugly as when they miss.
