Yes, but they can double on the block. Hard to double from the Dirk spot. Lots of options and Wemby can hit that mid range shot effectively and turn it into drives.
Well let them... The fact that they don't even try is stupid... Since when do teams not pust up their superstar center when he has a midget on him?

There is not enough shooting around Sochan, if he did he would have scored 30 this game.

Popovich and his utterly stupid roster-building along with the rest of the FO is who I blame for this . How can you build a team without 3 point shooting with 2025 right around the corner? It will takes YEARS to undo the mistakes made as recently as the #8 pick of this year's draft.

He's cooked, and so are the near-term expectations (next 2-3 seasons, minimum) of Spurs ball, in all likelihood.

He doesn't look right. Not sure if he is sick, or hurt, or whatever...but dude is just playing with no intensity. Not demanding the ball, getting lazy on defense, and his handles look atrocious right now
Let's hope he's just a little sick or something like that.

How exactly do you preach accountability to Wemby or anyone else when they see a guy who presided over a 22-60 season get made the highest-paid coach in the league?

There's no accountability and nothing matters. That's the message to the players from up on high.

AJ Mitc with his all around game might be better than all of the Spurs young guards, including Castle. Too bad for him he's stuck on a loaded roster and can't play.

Yeah, it's sickening seeing the Thunder 2nd round pick clown on us. PATFO has no shame, none at all.

Maybe the Spurs are just flexing a little in the general direction of the other tanking teams.

Well said. I actually remember being excited about Pop signing for 5 years after Wemby was drafted. What a gut punch to think he'll still be in charge for years to come, not only on the bench, but behind the scenes in the FO.

Tanking for 3 years in a row after getting the best prospect of a generation after the first tank. Only, and I mean only, Popovich can get away with it without even a peep from media.

Wemby looks out of it. Him being sick is really ing with him. Hope he rests up tomorrow and regroups.

He will get it together, not worried about him.

but the ING TURNOVERS are beyond INFURIATING!

Thought this would be get better with Paul but it's the same .

22 assists and turnovers is ridiculous. I get the Thunder are a better team right now but they are so ing careless with the ball.

Paul has nothing to do with wemby turning the ball over everytime he does a fancy/dangerous pass or driving to the basket and lost the ball.

Pundits in the preseason got too excited talking about playoffs. Having said that, the team is still better than last year. They are fighting and not giving up. Last few games if it was last year we would have lost by 30. Also Wemby looks tired for whatever reason, likely the Olympics. Despite even that, if the team had any
shooting, the games would look better.

how does Flagg help this team's defense? How does Flagg help Collins and Johnson become better players? We are not 1 players away from being good. We need a new coach and half of the roster gone. We literally have over half of the players on our team that can't consistently hit open jumpers and can't defend anyone.

The front office actually looked at this 22 win team last year and thought just adding Paul, Barnes and Castle would fix things.

Their presence doesn’t make 80% of the roster a non liability.

exactly why were you excited that a man in his 70s signed an extension that would take him to almost 80 years old coaching? In the history of professional sports, have you ever seen a successful coach past the age of 75?
