A few NIL related notes that IT is hearing...

- "As you know, there will be a salary cap but it’ll differ based on conference. We’re hearing the SEC and Big 10 will have $15 million caps. With Tennessee currently holding the highest payroll ($18 million), they’ll have some work to do. The SEC and B10 will have higher caps than the ACC, Big 12, and others, because the two main conferences in college football also hold almost 80% of the TV deals."

- "With the new additional 20 scholarships and the removal of walk-ons, expect bigger programs to use those 20 on a de facto practice squad, similar to the NFL, where the players can be moved up or down the roster depending on injury needs, etc. You could see a program grab 10-15 4th- and 5th-year seniors from HBCUs, G5s, and the Ivy Leagues."

I guess I'm dumb and don't immediately see why that even factors in, unless the logic is allowing more money to be spent by the teams on TV more frequently.

Set a cap and let everyone spend what they want as long as they don't break that ceiling.

The majority of the best players were already going to those schools.

Me neither. That logic makes no sense considering NIL money comes from so many sources other than TV money

Littleton told OTF he was on the same 7-on-7 team as DT Myron Charles and DE Javion Hilson.

He visited campus last spring and said he's excited to get back to Austin this weekend.

According to him, it will come down to Michigan vs. Texas barring a change.
