When Keldon was on the floor the last three minutes it looked to be a sure loss.
Winnable game… awesome to see Castle step up like he did. Just needed smarter play from our superstar in the clutch, and it didn’t help the Lakers were draining all of those wide open 3s.
Also, Austin Reeves shoving it down ST.com’s throats
I'm sorry guys but Mitch sux. Hopefully he is there just as a stopgap between someone that we really want to get as head coach
I don't believe in blaming or even mentioning refs, but that last foul where Davis just bounces his own self off Chris Paul was a load of bull .
David Duke should be playing over Wesley and Branham tbh. He’s better than both.
Keldon should be a minutes eater, that's it. Not the mother er you close with.
There's only one or two bad ones that he took. He's literally almost always open. Let him take those. Last shot he missed was just him being gassed methinks.
Pretty good game. We would've been blown out by 20 last year, tbh.

Yeah they should have finished with Barnes over Keldon. Didn’t they bring in Barnes for IQ and vet play? Keldon does neither of that.
Lakers are desperate to win this one, being the greatest NBA Cup team of all time.
But the Spurs hung in there. Great, fun game.
Next up is a struggling Dallas team. Might take that one to again stay on .500.
A real playoff team will expose them. As usual, they’re dog outside of their 2 stars and Reaves. Knect is still an unproven rookie.
Devin isn't all the way back, and Tre can't come back soon enough so that we have 48 minutes solid PG play.
Stephon Castle was good again. Great transition hit ahead passes to Collins in particular.

Barnes needs to be more assertive.
At the beginning of the game he had one drive on Lebron and then he just faded away.
We need to get him more shots.
Barnes played 27 minutes, 3 FGA and 4 FTs.
Wesley and Branham combined for 15 minutes, 8 FGA.
Sorry, but that just isn't right.
Castle breakout performance makes this our night.
That stretch with Blake, Zach, and Mamu destroyed any chance of winning.
And more than anyone, Collins is killing this team’s chances of winning. Something has to be done. Mitch has him on a short leash,but they’ve got to get more drastic. Time to move Bassey to Wemby’s backup. Even coming off an ACL, Charles is more athletic than Zach.
I’d probably play Barnes instead of Keldon. But I understand it. You kind of want to use these games to evaluate players in these scenarios.
It was a serious game and the rotation in the 2nd half got trimmed down pretty quick in terms of who is actually playable in this environment.
Anyway - good game and they didn’t get embarrassed on national tv like last season. Yeah they got ed over by the refs but that happens to everyone that plays the Lakers.
wesley/Branham/Collins/Johnson - can’t trust them and probably replaced next offseason via draft picks etc.

Wemby’s inability to get to the line is insane
Unfortunately Wemby doesn't blow the whistle or blow the refs like AD
He's mostly playing outside.
