Down 30 in a game 7, Harden and Snake’s asses planted on the bench. Cucks

Now if Ime can finish what Harrison Barnes started it’ll be a perfect first round.

The bubble was their best shot and they lost to this same team no less
And they blew a 3-1 lead....AND Kawhi had months to rest and get "healthy"

Braun is just like every other player in Jokic’s orbit: supercharged around him, unplugged when they leave. If Braun ever leaves Denver, he’ll be exposed as mid.

This series has shown that Kawhi is no longer that guy. Outside the Game 2 eruption, he either got bodied by Aaron Gordon or flustered by the blitzing double teams. Combined with a steep decline of his defense; his impact on the game is not what it used to be during his peak years 2017-2021. Now i feel like the "what-if" question about his recent injury-plagued seasons has been answered.

Toronto immediately lucking out with 2019 le after the trade surely hurt, but the Spurs come away winners in the grand scheme of things..

Agree. Braun is just another Bruce Brown and KCP. Limited but good role players only if you have elite talent around them. See KCP on the 2020 Lakers, Brown on the 2023 Nuggets etc.

    Spurs
    2019 Toronto FRP
    Demar DeRozan
    Jakob Poeltl

    Toronto
    Kawhi Leonard
    Danny Green

    Demar <-> CHI 2025 FRP
    Jakob <-> TOR 2024 FRP <-> MIN 20131 FRP

Those two FRPs plus some inconsequential contracts were the meat of the Fox deal. We did trade our 2027 pick, but we also got to keep and use the 2019 TOR FRP, so, essentially, we did a slow, nearly 7 year rolling trade of Kawhi Leonard for De’Aaron Fox.

ROFL Game 7 Harden. 7 pts on 2-8 shooting. It's always fun seeing this got crash and burn every series once it gets to Game 5 and beyond.

Jokic and Murray are gonna have to go Super Saiyan to even push the Thunder to 6 imo. Their depth is gonna wear down Denver quick tbh.

which means he's still way better than Branham.

You can always count on strip club Harden to come through when it matters

So with Curry and Butler going down tonight - every sinlge 35+ former all-star playing, earning 30% of the cap is gone. Watch this trend.

he definitely became a Spurs fan after 2014. Typical bandwagoner that has no clue about the Spurs doing the same thing he complains about years prior.
Imagine gatekeeping sports fandom because not everyone's the same old that you are

The do I care what the Spurs were doing in the 80's? Yes, I wasn't watching then, what bearing does it have to what the Spurs do in 2025 or whether they should follow the rules of the sport instead of actively trying to injure opponents?

I guess some folks abide the "once a head, always a head" sayings for themselves, and expect everyone else to follow suit as well...

Please tell me all about how you didn't about Zaza and the Warriors when it all went down, surely you were OK with that since "it's the way the game is played"? The hypocrisy is pathetic tbh

Bruce Bowen didn’t play in the 80s bro. And in fact he has his number in the rafters doing that pussy-ass behavior that you’re so against. Why don’t you go write him a ing letter saying how he never participated in a compe ive meaningful sports-related compe ion and how you are the end all be all when it comes to sports behavior. And since the Spurs retired his ing number that means the entire franchise was totally ok with that type of behavior. So get off your high ing horse and stop ing and moaning. You think when I played basketball I wasn’t pushed and slapped and hit in the ribs and elbowed every time I went for a layup? And that was just high school. So did I play meaningful? Nope not really. But to act like this hasn’t been going on and blowing a fuse about it now is ridiculously stupid.
When did I say Bowen played in the 80's? Quote me or get better glasses, gramps.

I don't give a about the Spurs having done this-or-that in the 80's and rewarding reprehensible behavior because that's the way it went. My issue is with people persisting this view into 2025 and acting like it's all OK to play dirty and try to injure opposing players just because it's some sort of macho-bull "tradition".

I didn't and don't condone it for the Spurs, it's not a part of their history I'm particularly happy or proud about. Thankfully it's not all that Spurs fandom entails, and players like Manu and Timmy - as talented as they were honorable compe ors - didn't display these behaviors anywhere yet became champions. That's what the Spurs are to me (and most, I'm guessing, as I don't see much Bowen praise here).

Nobody is trying to “injure” Curry. But if his finger is in discomfort when he shoots, well guess what that’s good for us. Nobody was diving under his ankles trying to injure him like Zaza so why even bring that up? And what kind of bull was the whole, how would you like it if we applied it to outside of basketball? . This is a ing basketball forum. We are talking about basketball on a literal basketball forum. And how would doing that outside of basketball even work? Like I hurt my toe and my colleagues are going to try and step on it? What a stupid point.
Bull . I just linked a video where you can see Dillon Brooks repeatedly and purposefully try to injure Curry. Again, glasses, TOSB.

What's the difference in your eyes between hitting his already-injured thumb and Zaza landing on Kawhi's foot? Both events are equally dirty and have the same result/objective - to take the opposing star player out of the game. You clearly show your hypocrisy here -- you can't even seem to compare the two events? Of course you don't like Zaza injuring your star player, what a shocker........

actually proving my point that it's a hyopocrite's argument at its core. I'm surprised to see people supporting you when we have Victor Wembanyama on our team - maybe the league's biggest young star, and also one of the most fragile due to his bodytype. I'm eager to see y'all keep this energy once teams like these Rockets start targeting his injuries in the playoffs, TBH.

Sugus has hit full level re as of late.
I hardly post anymore, what're you on?

I haven't changed my views whatsoever, but it indeed gets increasingly funnier to see the Spurs improve and succeed whilst the typical bottom-dwellers keep to their -sticked criticisms of every single move the team makes, only to be proven wrong year after year.

They'll make the POs next season despite the Mitch hiring or whatever, much to the usual suspect's shock and chagrin. After a while, you start to see the same things in a different way, I'm sure most elder posters feel similarly.

Tbh, I'm looking forward to Cavs-Pacers series.

No annoying narratives because mainstream media doesn't care about it whatsoever, two teams with great coaches and enjoyable style of play. No idiots on either side, perfect for fans who want to see high level basketball without any of the modern nonsense surrounding it.

Shame about Garland, I doubt he'll be close to his best when he returns.
Huge win for the Pacers, this will be a great series.
