Q: Your intelligence community says they have no evidence that Iran is building a nuke
TRUMP: Then my intelligence community is wrong. Who said that?
Q: You director of national intelligence Tulsi Gabbard
TRUMP: She's wrong

it's surprising to me that 17 waves of missile attacks on Israel has drawn no overt US response other than to move more US forces into the region
one wonders what Russia and China have told Israel privately about its nuclear deterrent, it's surprising to me that Israel has been willing to sustain this much damage without threatening to use it
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-us-join-trump“The whole operation is premised on the fact that the US will join at some point,” an Israeli official told CNN.
“We are waiting for the decision of the president,” another senior official told the network.
Israel has yet to attack Iran’s most secure enrichment facility, at Fordow, which is built into a mountain with up to 100 metres of rock above it. Only the US air force has penetrating bombs of the size that have the best chance of making a dent in such defences, although even with those 13,000kg (30,000lb) munitions, success is not guaranteed.
As the war has progressed, so has the clamour in Israel for US involvement, along with uncertainty over whether Netanyahu has a plan B if Trump opts to watch from the sidelines.
“We need to hope that this actually happens, and possibly very soon,” the veteran commentator Ben Caspit wrote in Ma’ariv newspaper on Wednesday. “Take all the credit, Donald. The important thing is that you ultimately decide to join.”
Writing in Yedioth Ahronoth, Shimon Shiffer argued: “Without the involvement of the United States, the war with Iran will not reach a decisive conclusion that justifies our assault on the ayatollahs’ regime and the heavy price that Israeli citizens are paying with their lives and property.
“Mr President, come save the world,” Shiffer wrote. “Come save us from Iran. Come save us from ourselves.”
Larry Johnson thinks the US attack on Iran is coming very soon
https://sonar21.com/friday-video-tsu...rael-and-iran/From my contacts within the US military, all signs indicate that we’re on-the-luge (a fast snow sled) at this point and there’s no way to get off. We are hurtling downhill… too much is already in motion. Even if Trump decides tomorrow to call everything off, we’ve already set up and committed enough support assets so that the Israeli Defense Force has everything it needs. Reversing course seems very unlikely now because of bureaucratic momentum. I hope that I am wrong and, when the dust finally settles, you can accuse me of being a nervous Nellie instead of a Cassandra.
The fighter and bomber units that Trump has deployed to do the job are considered elite — i.e., they’re really good at their jobs. They’re going to try to black out Iran’s air defenses completely during the window of the strike. While China will most likely use it as an intelligence gathering opportunity for their own purposes, the task of trying to hand off targeting data to the Iranians to counter the strike will be very difficult to accomplish because the US and Israel will try to blanket everything with electronic warfare.
Notwithstanding the work of the US and Israeli planners, there remains some uncertainty. For example, have the Russians or Chinese deployed any electronic warfare units to counter what the US and Israel may employ? Has Iran requested the deployment of Russian S-400 air-defense systems?
Chances that diplomacy will derail Trump’s insane attack are slim, based on Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi’s comments to NBC today:
If Washington wants diplomacy, we were engaged in it when “Israel” attacked us. If the Americans are serious about diplomacy, they should contact “Israel” to halt its aggression.Iran is holding firm to its position — i.e., continued enrichment of uranium in accordance with the NPT treaty and no deal on Iran’s stockpile of ballistic missiles. Trump gives every indication that he will reject Iran’s terms… hence, no deal.
We have concluded that American diplomacy was a cover for what “Israel” did.
We achieved nuclear technology with our own capabilities, and we can rebuild what was destroyed.
There is currently a lack of trust with the United States. Perhaps Washington has a plan to attack Iran and simply needs negotiations as cover.
A return to diplomacy is only possible when the aggression stops and the aggressor is held accountable.
We are currently striking “Israeli” economic facilities after they began targeting our economic facilities.
as usual with Trumplandia, verbatim quotation is considered disinformation
it's striking how the people around Donald Trump grovel -- no personal dignity
Tulsi Gabbard says Iran could produce nuclear weapons "within weeks", months after she testified before Congress that the country was not building them.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c056zqn6vvyoThe US Director of National Intelligence said her March testimony - in which she said Iran had a stock of materials but was not building these weapons - had been taken out of context by "dishonest media".
Maybe she got bad info prior or bad info now, who truly knows outside that admin?
I mean some of yall are still pushing Russiagate so the possibility could exist.
Maybe she got good info and Trump is just a warmonger ready to serve Bibi's wishes.
John Ratliffe signed it too
multi-agency consensus for the loss
it's all about backing Trump
https://www.reuters.com/business/aer...ay-2025-06-21/The United States is moving B-2 bombers to the Pacific island of Guam, two U.S. officials told Reuters on Saturday, as President Donald Trump weighs whether the United States should take part in Israel's strikes against Iran.
Lefties all huddled up to get the talking points

It's 1990, and an unpopular Republican president is dragging us into an unnecessary war in the Middle East
It's 2003, and an unpopular Republican president is dragging us into an unnecessary war in the Middle East
It's 2025, and an unpopular Republican president is dragging us into an unnecessary...
that's what the Dems are saying, too
This didn't sit well with Massie, who wrote on X, "This is not Cons utional."
