On OL Malakai Lee of Honolulu, HI...OTF wrote this morning they aren't aware of any schools being informed of what his plans are.
However, they expect his family to move wherever he goes, and they currently have multiple relatives in Dallas.

"I've talked to a couple of network sources who are making the same assumptions we have for a while. Nobody I know of is operating off hard intel which is always a tell. Meanwhile, Texas just "missed" on KJ Edwards and is currently out of it for Derrek Cooper. Some might think it's folly to use that as a positive data point but if that's you, you haven't been paying attention. Misses often become impetus. No Micah Hudson led to Ryan Wingo. And Edwards was not viewed in the same light as Crowell. Crowell was viewed as the top back in America when he was in the 2027 class. There was a time when Tashard Choice was the coach and Crowell re-classified and we had to re-think the entire RB board.We have a tad bit more reason to watch this one. If you don't watch the video, two things worth mentioning:
- Sark has personally taken over this recruitment
- Crowell has been to Austin with his mother four times, and he was quite upset when Coach Choice left. They believe his response is an indication that he was leaning Texas at that time even though he's mainly been seen as a guy who wants to be at Alabama regardless
According to On3, DT James Johnson of Miami, FL will commit on Saturday.
For what it's worth, he's been posting about Texas quite a bit lately.
The order of commitments for DT targets is now Simeon, Johnson, Guervil.
