I like the Suns improving. Makes sure our division rival (houston) doesnt get better because they have the suns picks
At some point (hopefully), BWrong & Co. are going to have to do some actual scouting instead of taking obvious picks because of their insane lottery luck to improve the roster.
Huge whiffs like Samanic, Branham, Wesley and multiple punts on second round picks aint gonna cut it tbh.

All it took was a few second round picks.Come on spurs.Fleming was projectied in the lotterey and yall
cant even make this easy move man wtf.
I mean, look. It's the second round. We got Harper. Bryant fell to us. In the grand scheme of things, it's probably not that big of a deal. But the questions I have are: 1) what is the point of having however many SRP's we have if we're never going to use them 2) given the absolute dearth of prospects (lol Minnix/Ingram), what's the harm in taking a prospect and sending him to ATX for a year or two? Isn't that what ATX is for in the first place?
Again, it's not like taking Primo at 12. But taking a second round pick seems like such low hanging fruit - particularly given the backup big needs - that them punting for Csh C
nsiderati
ns is pretty ing stupid.
Suns have added a lot of athleticism and shotblocking to their front line with Maluach, Williams, and now Fleming. they also have Dunn and Brooks for a defensive presence.
the insanity is we have 4 second round picks in 2026. there should be an active effort to move them
Wright has no balls
do you know how much cash we can make with 4 of them thangs?
The Suns are going to be better than people think and that has nothing to do with Fleming. They’ll have about 35-38 wins imo.
29th in defense last year and they’ve added Dillon Brooks, Maluach, Mark Williams (not great defensively but he’s 7 feet). Then they should have more minutes for Ryan Dunn.
I really like what they’ve done this off season so far.
Im not even sure we are gonna really try to get a big this offseason. They may be really commited to bassey and
mamu and really run it back.WTF that would suck
I don't really care about Flemming or whatever. But the problem is:
1) They're not using the picks in trades. KD went for #10 and 5 SRP. I'm fine with preserving them for a future move, but everything being signaled is that the team is doing the "slow and steady approach," so
2) They should, but aren't, using the picks to improve draft position. If they're "not skipping steps" and trying to develop a pipeline of talent then ..... develop a pipeline of talent. Use the picks for their intended purpose and move up and get a good developmental prospect.
I ultimately don't care about the specific move (trade vs. draft). I do care about them sitting on assets which are becoming devalued from lack of use.
I'm holding dem 2nd's till after this Draft and look at the opportunities for both the Draft next year and for trades coming up during the offseason and the next trade deadline.
You guys can stress over 2nd round talent that you need to fill your veins and blow your loads.
yeah, but Fleming is also going to help. Maluach, Mark Williams, Fleming, Dillon Brooks, plus another season of Dunn and Oso Ighodaro, plus addition by substraction of Durant and Bud, they should be compe ive.
What evidence suggests they'll use them? The pattern over the past two years has been to do the exact opposite.
This Fleming trade is why you wait to do a deal: Minnesota moved back to 36, they didn't have to. They could have gone after all future picks.
38 could have been necessary on top of others to get a deal done, Minnesota might have their eye on someone. But you can't swap when you've already traded away
Buffoons
I only said what I would do.
Savvy?
to be fair, the suns are giving up a haul of second rounders to make these maneuvers.
they came into today with the #52 and #59 picks. they got #52 from nick richards trade and #59 from the durant trade
- they traded 2 future second rounders for #36 (we only got 1 for #38)
- they packaged their "original" #52 and #59 picks for #41
- they then gave #36 + 2 more future second rounders for #31
so all in all, they have traded #52, #59 and four future SRPs in exchange for 31 and 41
they did get 5 SRPs from the Durant trade, and they're making active use of them
I’m gonna hate when Maxime Reynaud ends up on the lakers lol
suns must really want their next jalen smith.
Trade Wesley and some 2nd rounders for Nick Richards tbh.
i dont dislike richards, but im not sure he's notably better than guys we can just sign off the scrap heap
Bogoljub Markovic, Noah Penda, Maxime Raynaud, Ryan Kalkbrenner, Lachlan Olbrich, Rasheer Fleming, Alex Toohey, Rocco Zikarsky.
Spurs could have had one of these guys at #38 basically for nothing.
with Fleming going #31, im just gonna follow along until Kalkbrenner and Raynaud are off the board, then im out
The Shams tweet is so weird. Why are the Suns Finalizing all their research and scouting. That should have been done long ago lol. Are they jumping on YouTube trying to figure out who to draft lol
