WE GOT OUR GUY!!!
I know it's not a huge pickup, but still...
WE GOT OUR GUY!!!
i would have liked something like 3/25 for kornet, but he is a nice player. good passer, good rim protector. i think there are worlds they can play together
Let the ing begin.
I'm riding first class on the Luke Kornet train. Choo choo
Props to you man. Great call before it was announced as some of us were getting pretty upset with the lack of activity.

The Spurs will now be hard-capped at the 1st apron for the rest of the season, but they're still pretty far away from the apron.
Could easily be used as a trade chip later
KORNETTTTYY BABBYYYYY
Spurs have a bunch of picks that are enhanced by swaps... but beyond that, what do we have to offer in a Giannis chase? Harper and Castle would be the big prizes for MIL. Do you think we'll offer up one or both of them?
I can't see a scenario where the Spurs go for a model that would be Giannis/Fox/Wemby where we're filling out the rest of our roster with cheap bodies with no draft picks to fill the talent pipeline. Just very much not a RC/Wright/Pop approach
Kornet salary structure is something in the vicinity of 9.5/10.4/11.2/12.1 if the annual raises are 5%.
Rockets are cleaning up.
Free agent center Clint Capela has agreed to a three-year, $21.5 million deal with the Houston Rockets, sources tell ESPN. Major frontcourt addition – and return to Houston for Capela.
Good trade fodder if things go south.
What an overpay. No stretch, going that long...
Yeesh
Capela to Houston LOL Lakers
I think he starts TBH
leave it to ST to pine for a player, then assume that player won't get signed, then about the signing when it happens (before even knowing all the details of the contract).
Rockets kinda stacked in the front court, fr, tbh, IMHO, fwiw
I'm OK with the money, but why 4 years? That's a bit much.
that's what we say about every one of our players and they end up being here past due their expiration date.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's more like 12.1/11.2/10.4/9.5, might as well frontload as much as possible since the last two years are the critical ones for cap hits
I don’t mind it. I think they view him as the long term back up for those 4 years. They should look to add players for those 4 years where Harper and Bryant are on rookie contracts and Fox is on the max. That‘s the window you need to line up contracts for. Hope it’s frontloaded.
