Besides Harper and Bryant will be looking at the following guys:
Diouf - 6'11 - Seems to be athletic and worth a look
Garcia - Always like the underdogs - Plus he has some game
Moni - 6'8 Wing who is athletic worth a look
Osisfo - 6'9 Foward who is athletic worth a look
Minix - 6'7 Great shooter let's see if we see any improvement on his lateral speed
If we're talking about who might get the 3rd two-way slot, I'd slot in Mensah as the clubhouse leader for his higher level experience and just to keep him around unless some swingman shoots lights out or Nelson shows some PG skills or Diallo plays anything resembling offense. I do like Osifo because he doesn't make many mistakes but he doesn't do anything terribly well either and is a bit undersized. Gotta have at least one hook -- e.g., with Diallo you get 7 feet and blocks for sure.
Wemby played a game and a half. Castle played only one game. I’d look for that level of participation.
Minix too?
Teams seem to treat the Cali and SLC games as a tune-up for Vegas anyways. I'm not sure why the Cali and SLC Summer Leagues still exist since they're basically just preseason games for the real Summer League.
Why wouldn't they exist? IMO It gives teams a chance to get more of a look at certain players. Vegas doesn't have many games. Having more games gives teams a better chance to see certain players play more games. I think it's fine to have those extra Summer Leagues. You just want to rest your NBA rookies a bit more, though, if they're going to play both Vegas and other leagues.
Although it looks like he's doing full practices, he is on the tail end of his recovery from surgery.
Omari Moore put some really nice stats in Turkey this season. With Harper injured, he might end up playing a big role for this team.
Harper is injured for the season? . Tank for Boozer.
My Rashard Lewis story: the summer he was a hot free agent target, must have been the summer of 2002, I saw Mark Cuban and Rashard Lewis in the lobby of a strip club in Dallas. Said "Go Spurs Go" to them. They didn't seem amused. He ended up going back to SEA, I'd like to think I played a small part.
Scott is a strip club kind of man? Unexpected, tbh.
20+ years ago, me and my buds certainly enjoyed a faceboob or 20 from time to time. Haven't been inside of one in a very long time though... last time I was in one (San Antonio, probably 10 years ago or so) it resembled more of a house than a strip club. Don't know if things got shadier over time, or I just got more observant.
Harper suits up for the first two ESPN games and call it a summer, IMO

Was looking at teams summer league rosters, Keita Bates Diop is is playing for the bucks SL team lol
are we playing the Bulls, so we can witness the return of Josh Primo?
Primo hitting the game winner then celebrating by flashing the Spurs bench would be something else.
Interesting, his archetype when he was on the Spurs is what we would like at this time although he has likely dropped off by now.
I forgot he even existed. I had to look up if he played in the NBA last season. Looks like he didn't. I saw his best season of his career was his last season with the Spurs. He shot 50% from the field and 39% from three point range (he hasn't come close to this number since leaving the Spurs) and averaged 9.7ppg (career high).
You are right that that is the archetype the Spurs sort of are looking for as he's a SF/PF.
Lmao what a snowflake league with superstar pandering.
Especially knowing that the best player in the league heaves the ball whenever he can.
Who are you referring to as the best player in the league?
