    1) half of me thinks this horse whisperer might be a fraud, paying young stars to record these videos to make himself a millionaire. the other half thinks he might be legit
    2) who is that fat little short whitey with the sweaty ass and why is he out there?
    3) like the fact they don't only show makes
    4) this video is nothing compared to the 15 second Sochan IG vids
    5) still think this horse whisperer might be all hype, like the Kobe of coaches just talking top , with semi-decent drills who knows how to intimidate young players
    SGA worked with him.

Does TGW post videos of his other clients like this? Steph is a young and upcoming guard who could really be great, so I did kind of wonder if he's using that to boost his business a bit. I do think he's legit if he's also worked with Shai (don't know the extent of how much he's helped Shai), but maybe he's sort of helping his own business out at the same time. If he can help Steph reach his potential, I'm all for it.

If Castle could simply finish at the rim he’s a 20 PPG guy.

Steph was by far the best rookie drawing fouls in the paint last year, finished at the rim just fine too

First off I didn’t say a thing about his FT drawing which we already know is elite. Secondly you don’t even sound like you watch the games, he missed a ridiculous amount of bunnies.

If you watched the long form videos where Steph is working on the baseline/mid range/paint game, you pretty much see where Shai’s game came from.

Interviewer is Marques Johnson, who was a pretty nice player for the Bucks in the late 70s through mid 80s.

Love Marques. Was basically 90% Gervin.

    Still kicking.

He posted vids of Amen Thompson and VJ Edgecombe. Klay worked out with him recently too. Evan Mobley and SGA have been working with him for years. The guy is legit.

I have no doubt Castle will increase his production next season, maybe not 25 ppg especially with the egalitarian style of offense that the Spurs like to play. Him hitting his open shots more consistently will open his game even more with players closing and Steph taking it to the rim. I’m stoke with this kid’s demeanor and focus on getting better - he’s gunning for greatness. And then there’s also Dylan who has the same swagger and at ude about winning. Damn it’s going to be a long time of Spurs greatness.

LOL that Raymond scene from White Men Can't Jump. Never even knew it was him at the time and I knew damn well who Marques Johnson was then. Just used to seeing him clean cut at the time and all that facial hair made him look like a completely different person.

Harper didn't popout 2 Lumbar Spine (Lumbar also didn't his daughter)
Wemby didn't get another potential career ender

What? Did someone get injured? Like, what are you on about? Nothing you've said makes sense.

That guy is pretty good with fundamentals and approach to mindset during actions in a live setting. He has a good foundational method of slowing the game and making it simple. These young guys definitely benefit from it.

Yeah in the full court press drill at one point he scolded castle a bit saying that he keeps it simple and effective in the frills but in their games/scrimmages he dances around too much. Reminded him to keep the moves simpler

Wasted movement is such an impactful discipline for coaching. There's so much of it in all sports. The best players re always the ones that learned to be fluid and consistent with their actions. I definitely like Castle working with ol boy.

Loved watching those videos with the Guard Whisperer. Castle is not messin' around. Growth is always non-linear, but, when things start to click offensively for him, he will be elite. It will probably build over a 3-4 seasons/off-seasons. Similar to the Shai trajectory.

I'll admit that I noticed that Vassell has not worked with him and I had the idea that Wemby could benefit from some of that focus on fundamentals, efficiency, ball-handling, etc. Harper will likely do some tune-up work with him next summer, too.

Lastly, I wonder how much it costs to work with that guy and his team like Castle was doing?

From my Chat GPT, so grain of salt (and assuming I got the iden y correct, Olin Simplis)

    From a booking platform listing:

1-on-1 in-gym session (Glendale, CA): $200 per hour

1-on-1 satellite (they travel to you): $300 per hour

1-on-1 virtual session: $100 per hour

    ️ Monthly Packages
From a separate scheduling site offering bundled plans:

    Silver Package: 3 court days/week → $1,500/month

    Gold Package: 3 court + 2 lifting sessions/week → $2,000/month
    train-with-guard-whisperer.square.site

(This tiered approach reflects premium access to NBA-level trainers and facilities.)

     Summary
Drop-in hourly rates: $100–$300/hr depending on format

    Monthly commitment packages: $1,500–$2,000/mo

     What This Means
Elite access isn’t cheap—but pricing aligns with top-tier skill development coaches.

A virtual session at $100/hour offers a lower-cost entry point.

Committed players training multiple days/week are clearly the target for high-tier packages.

Chump change to someone like Castle. Even having a small chance of becoming SGA lite would be worth 8 figures.

    Thanks!

How could an NBA guard afford NOT to do this!
Castle is getting after it with a fire like a guy trying to make it in the league like he's a walk-on.

The nba is such a WWF-ass league. They really let a who can make 70 practice threes in a row play on the same team as Steph Curry. And then gave them Kevin Durant.

Guard Whisperer talking about his workouts with Steph at 23:00. They are working on his 3-point shot and scoring in the paint.

This guy says he's had Steph Castle since high school. If you go back to early Steph interviews, he talks about trying to just "touch paint." It's neat to hear where he gets that from.
