Because they hate us.
As much as Aggy and Oklahoma does.
That in itself makes it a rivalry.
Worthy-like
LHN was not the same as what NBC did with ND.
The LHN was 12 hrs of Lonhorn crap. Poorly done for vast majority of it.
I don't see that same vitriol from Arky towards UT like that. I'd say Southern Cal probably hates UT more than Arky but that's just me I guess.
Also the pigs haven't been blue blood level since probably the 70s. UT will bash them every year like Bama, LSU and/or Georgia do.

The point is that ABC/ESPN paid for 24 hours a day of longhorn crap for 20 years. Whether it was poorly done or not is besides the point...Which is moot any way.
OTF saying Ohio State is trying to get their foot in the door with DE Dre Quinn of Buford, GA.
They have invited him to Columbus this weekend for their game against Minnesota.

According to OTF, ATH Jalen Lott of Frisco Panther Creek has been in contact with the staff daily since he was on campus two weeks ago.
They give Texas a 60% chance to flip him currently.

Lol when are the points ever available for the horns?
I wouldn't even begin to think of touching UT (-7.5) on the road v the gators. If anything Fla +7.5 is mighty tempting.
Interesting match-up.
Texas D is giving up 7.75 points per game, and 5.6 if you take away Ohio State's 14 that they scored.
Florida is averaging 11 in their last three, and have not scored more than 16 since they beat Long Island in Week 1.
On3 reporting LB Braylon Hodge of Greenwood Village, CO has set his Texas official for November 22nd.
It's possible he moves it up, but he has three others scheduled before that to Michigan, Oregon and Missouri (in that order).

Eyeball test says that UT should beat them by 30 but I'd never bet against a blue blood at home
A stat I will continue to rely on, but it'd be nice to see the offense be above average.
The father of RB KJ Edwards from Carthage told 247 they will be at the Cotton Bowl next weekend.
