I'm mixed on this one. On one hand I hope he doesn't declare for the draft and decides to stay because I'm afraid his draft stock is not that high. On the other hand, him leaving opens the door for Lockett and Ffrench to become major contributors. Been waiting for Lockett to get his shot. Plus, incoming Fr Bishop is going to see the field early and a lot. I would not be surprised if he came in and took a starting spot at WR.

As of this morning, OTF reporting DT Ethan Burke, LB Anthony Hill, Jr. and CB Jaylon Guilbeau won't be playing in the bowl game against Michigan.
They aren't sure why Guilbeau is opting out since he will be a late round pick or undrafted.
Worth noting CB Malik Muhammad is practicing with the team despite many thinking he will declare for the draft.
Guilbeau probably butthurt about getting benched and seeing less playing time in the last few games
If Manny plays, I don't think he goes into the draft. While the coaches likely said, "sure, we would love to have you play" I'm sure they followed that up with "It's not a wise business decision to do so and we recommend you sit out and get prepared for the NFL".
Remember when Christian McCaffrey got raked across the coals for not playing in the bowl game? Wasn't that long ago but seems like it was lol
Yeah. As a long time Longhorn fan I would love to have all the talent available for the bowl game. However, even I would tell him not to play and prepare for the draft......if he was given a good draft grade.

If the players are seniors and want to play, they should play. 3 different bowl eligible teams have declined offers. Now multiple 5-7 teams are declining.
ncaa is having problems finding a team for one of the bowls.
Sark should play some of the younger guys, see what they got.
I would hate to see a player get hurt in this type of game.

Is the Senior Bowl next on the list of casualties? If a player is hesitant to play in their team's bowl game, why would they play in the Senior Bowl? Aren't there insurance policies that these players could take out to guarantee payment of some percentage loss of potential NFL income in the event that they get hurt playing a bowl game, or any college games at all for that matter?
My thinking is that if you're needing to up your draft stock, you might need to play in the Senior Bowl against other All Stars.

Conflicting reports out there on Mack right now.
IT wrote this morning that "if the parties continue on the current trajectory," Jabbar Juluke should be Texas' new RB coach.
They feel the process has already been much more efficient than it was last year.
It doesn't necessarily mean he's remaining with the team, but OTF saying Mack was at practice today.
IT believes he's in line to be the starter at STAR should he stay in Austin.
