The irony of you saying I can't comprehend the article I linked and then calling me a ing moron when your comments clearly show it was you who couldn't comprehend the article is just too ing funny.

Point out the part of the article from that "tough guy" (20+ year federal prosecutor) where he says her intent matters. Should be easy since you claim it's littered all throughout the article. But I know you too well, you won't back your claim because when you actually go back to try, you'll realize how stupid your claim was. You'll dodge like you always do. You didn't even have to read the whole article as he lays out the only thing that matters right in the ing byline you ing moron

"The only perspective that matters is the perspective of the Officer at the time he uses deadly force in response to a threat"
the irony of you being the one making the original claim that intent doesn't matter..... then posting a rando text wall article that you didn't read....... and you not pointing to the part to back up YOUR claim.

No really, you're a ing moron. Really.

If she had no intention of hitting him, what's the threat, genius? That she'll get away and come back tomorrow loaded for bear with her iPhone 16 camera?

This guy talks about intent and weaponizing the vehicle all throughout the article before making a conclusion at the end that intent doesn't matter.

"......Under the Model Instruction 6.18.111, “assault” on a federal officer is defined as:

An “assault” is any intentional and voluntary attempt or threat to do injury to the person of another, when coupled with the apparent present ability to do so sufficient to put the person against whom the attempt is made in fear of immediate bodily harm.7....

.....]or a car to qualify as a deadly weapon, the defendant must use it as a deadly weapon and not simply as a mode of transportation." United States v. Arrington , 309 F.3d 40, 45 (D.C. Cir. 2002). For instance, using a car "purely for flight" would not trigger liability under § 111(b). ….......

...it is not cons utionally unreasonable to prevent escape by using deadly force. Thus, if the suspect threatens the officer with a weapon or there is probable cause to believe that he has committed a crime involving the infliction or threatened infliction of serious physical harm, deadly force may be used if necessary to prevent escape.....

Did the ICE Officer in Minneapolis have “probable cause” to believe Ms. Good had committed a crime involving the threatened infliction of serious physical harm? If yes … “deadly force may be used if necessary to prevent escape.”

As noted above, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a federal law enforcement officer does NOT require actual physical contact or injury to the officer. Whether Good hit the ICE Officer or not does not change the “reasonableness” determination....."

    Etc..

You Trump s perform the most strenuous mental gymnastics to avoid admitting the most obvious facts if it involves team Trump .

Are you seriously re ed? You read that entire article and that’s your first question?!?! The woman had already committed two federal offenses and then accelerated her car at him from a few feet way. He doesn’t know her intent. Was it reasonable for him to think she was going to try and run him over? Yes or no. Don’t be a pussy and dodge.

No, when it gets that far, I'll join you.
I'm not so sure about that

But, the criminal illegal aliens in Minneapolis are more of a "death squad" than DHS officers could ever be. Have you seen the crimes some of those arrested have been CONVICTED. Why are you in favor of preventing ICE from doing it's job (even though they're doing a pretty damn good job in spite of Ms. Good's ICE Watch organization and others like them)?

Are you denying the number of violent criminal illegal aliens that have been apprehended in Minnesota, since mid-December, in spite of the Left's attempt to impeded ICE Operations?

Based on what I've seen? If I'm on the jury, no it's not reasonable to claim self defense. Him shooting her wasn't remotely close to being needed to save his life or anyone else's. He didn't even dive out of the way. It was more dangerous to shoot the driver and let the vehicle keep moving than to just let her go, so that's not justifiable either.

And is it a weapon or not? Make up your mind.

And do all prosecutors see it like this guy? Why did so many federal prosecutors quit today?

    You're a re ed bootlick.

according the ICE's own numbers the people being detained are by and large neither violent nor criminals -- recent growth in the population of detainees is almost entirely in the non-criminal segment

spreading fear and violence in Minnesota is more typical of DHS than immigrant cohorts, tbh

So how are they supposed to get to the violent criminals - hiding in a Sanctuary State - with s like the Goods impeding their operations?

    And, she didn't hit him?

ICE agent who shot Renee Good suffered internal bleeding, officials say

Gosh how has law enforcement ever been able to get to violent criminals in the past without killing citizens?

    from what?

    You guys just make up.

And violent illegal immigrants have always been rounded up and deported without having to murder US citizens.

    You're doing it wrong.

    "internal bleeding"

A bruise on his shooting hand is "internal bleeding". He walked away easily from scene and was released same day from hospital.

    You believe government press releases

ICE isn't going after violent criminals for the most part. Instead they're hanging around schools and courtrooms, raiding worksites -- and at this point basically dragging random nonwhite people out of cars and off the streets without regard to immigration status.
