Are the Longhorns passing on Seaton? Did he even visit?
Also, has there been any talk about either Seymour from W. Ky or Taleek Lockette from Texas State. Figured either one of them would be nice depth pieces and could compete for a position.
Texas is out on Seaton and he didn't visit.
Nahlin from IT had an update on Texas' search for a starting OG:
"Before the process began I mentioned Tellek Lockette would be a bellwether for the OL class. My thinking was if Texas didn’t push for him then they feel real good about their options. Well, Texas almost pushed for Lockette last week before pulling back. We’ll continue to wait to see what they’ll come up with but I think the “bellwether read” was accurate."
So, that must mean Texas either has someone else in mind or they found another solution.
Texas never really addressed the Oline last year. I hope they don’t make the same mistake this year.
