what is a clarity enhanced diamond? I've looked up the basic definition, but is it just like a cheap ugly diamond? I've seen a few in stores and they look the same, but I didn't know if they were recommended. I'd hate to spend a few thousand on a pretty piece of glass.

Waste of money. They take a lesser quality diamond and treat it with heat or chemicals to make it appear more clear, or they call it clarity enhanced and jack up the price when they haven't done anything but polish it.

A diamond either is or isn't clear/included. It's a scam, just like blue-white diamonds were a scam a few years back.

Thanks, i knew they were a bad idea when I saw the price. I'm always thinking, "you get what you pay for" and since these are priced WAY lower than similar sized un-enhanced, I was a little iffy on their quality. Thanks again.
